Swiss
I'm a Red Sox fan and also a SF Giants fan. No more than that. But I could give a glance to the Nats. It's great to be young and a Giant! - Larry Doyle
IronChefShark
nope.I have on team: the Giantsthey got a new name, and play in a new city. doesnt mean they should instantly start becoming sympathetic favorites. they are still an established franchise. Just relocated US state flag concepts
Swiss
Yes, you are right but you can't denied that the city of Washington has certain baseball appeal and a storied baseball history.I always like to read about the times of the Train Johnson, the three AL pennants and their solely World Series won (uggghhh... against my beloved Giants), the HRs of Hondo, the decrepit Griffith Field...I voted maybe... but I strongly am a fan of the Red Sox and the Giants. Long time I was suffering for those two teams far, far of its ballparks so my baseball identity is tied to these teams. The Nats would be a team to give some glance when the season is running... as everyone watched his/her favorite team and a couple of teams more. CC97
I might cheer them on in the National League, but I'm not sure... it feels weird that the Expos aren't there anymore. --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
Swiss
I understand you, CC97. I'll miss the unique "Frenchspoken" team in the MLB... It's great to be young and a Giant! - Larry Doyle
Cartabago
Well, yeah, they'd be an alt. for me. (sox fan) but hey, I'm in their territory and can probably hit who knows how many games so that's a plus.
WJMorris3
Well, let's see. Am I a Nats fan? No.Hell, I'll prolly be there at their second-ever game holding a sign that says: WASHINGTON - FIRST IN WAR, FIRST IN PEACE, LAST IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE

winters in buffalo
Since they are now the geographic closest team to me, and since I haven't really followed any single team since the last strike, I suppose I might be inclined to adopt them as my new 'home' team. See Red
I usually cheer for new teams to succeed -- and since there in the NL, i'll cheer for them as well.
BC_RochNY
O can not become become a Nats fan for the sole purpose that I am a Pirates fan. If the Pirates ever moved from the 'Burgh, I don't know if I COULD follow them in their new home. I am from western PA, and the Bucco's and Steelers have been ingrained in me since I could remember. Do I hope that they succeed...yeah, I do,...root for them...only against teams from the NL Central...and the Yankees during Interleague games if they play. Ez Street
The Royals are my team, but i never have had an NL team too root for. I always pulled for the Expos, so i guess i'll give my support to the Nats. @DavidStreeter
GeorgesL
I have always cheered for the Expos, and I have always cheered for the Montreal teams (and Quebec City as well)......and gosh darn it, I'm going to stay a Montreal fan. I do have my own fantasy baseball team in Montreal, the Dragons! So there you go.
budbowl77
you know what? i've owned senators and new york giants baseball caps throughout the years. i'm glad washington will be in the national league (for now) so yeah, i'll give em' a look for now. yh
I voted No. I'm a Cardinals fan through and through, and while I do intend on picking up one of those snazzy "new" caps (the navy blue one), it won't mean I support them any more than the other teams whose headgear I also happen to own. I might be joining you on the "buying a snazzy 'new' blue cap" train... might as well get 'em while you can, I don't think they'll be around too long (that DC logo has to replace it sooner than later) --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
