Is it just me or are the stripes on the replicas and authentics not really similar. Particularly the white stripe.

I drew this up in mere minutes. It's not a real template.

While the white stripe seems to naturally come to a point on the replica as it nears the center stripe, it widens on the authentics instead.

is anybody else with me on teams having the same color socks as pants. the red pants with the red socks sucks. i like a white sock with a thick red stripe possibly outlined top and bottom by a thin black line. anybody with me?

Roger, I noticed it, big-time. The fact that sleeves have gone by the waysite in actual game use is why--basically, that stripe gets cut off, and at an angle as well. I do like the way it comes to a point on each side of the sleeve on the game jerseys, which would be a great place to put the Cardinal head logo, rather than above the name.

the revolutionary part i believe is the change itself not the design.

as for the uni update, a part of me wants to like these but another part wants to vomit at the sight of these unis.

for a team like the cards, this change seems a bit too drastic. i think a simple modernization would have worked. i was hoping something along the lines of like Philly, NY Giants and San Fransicko. This is just a mess.

When i saw the new logo, which i really like, i was under the impression that they would do something simple, maybe add black and yellow to the jersey but not make a mess of the thing. If they planned on overhauling the uniforms why not go ahead and overhaul everything. what i see from this is modernization of the logo, retro mask and radical change to the uniforms.

as for the falcon look alike, the replica on the hanger looks like the falcons in reverse but the unis on the players, don't have the falcons look. in fact the design gets lost. especially on the red.

i don't like the red jersey on red pants or the white on white, its over kill on the red and white. i prefer the red on white and the white on red. it gives the uniform some sort of balance. its like the falcons, when the falcons came in to the league in 66, we had the red helmet, black jersey and white pants. in other words a balanced design. then in 72, they screwed it up by going with a red helmet, red jersey and white pants. basically red over kill. then in 90 it went to the other extreme with black helmet, black jersey and silver pants until they recently changed to there current look. which i like because the falcons needed a serious over haul from the logo to the uniforms. i especially like black helmet, red jersey and white pants.

I edited a Red Cards jersey to make a black alt. jersey. I made it through paint. A bit small too.

Roger it's not just you. The stripes aren't similar at all when it comes to the underarm part. The authentics don't look so AZ flag inspired.

I actually really really like the jerseys ... I think they offer a very fair mix of 'experimental' look without being 'arena football' styled (like i think the bengals and falcons are too far to that side). I think the pants are a bit too much though ... I prefer some classic striping or something a little closer to classic. I think these would have looked nice with a more subtle striping pattern, or none at all.

and yeah, the sleeve pattern is very different on the authentics and the replicas ... weird. the authentics have a red end stripe to keep the jersey "sleeveless", and the white section doesnt taper the same. odd.

I'm with you. It makes them look like sweat pants. Why can't the Titans wear a light blue topped sock with the blue pants? Why can't the Cards have a black topped sock with the red pants?

exactly i 've emailed the chargers, redskins, titans , jags, about the same color sock as pants and even for the falcons when they wear the black pants. they alll say they are looking into it. the chargers use to have a similar sock to the pats but have since changed to the blue sock blue pants look.the redskins lost their minds by allowing clinton portis to screw uptheir look by going with the burgundy sock burgundy pants combo instead of the classic white sock with the yellow and burgundy stripe. what is up with the leotard look?

This is probably my biggest pet peeve in football unis. I hate when the Saskatchewan Roughriders wear black pants with black socks.

That always freakin' happens. The authentics and the replicas always differ in some way other than the stitched in numbers. I got my dream gift of an authentic red Vick jersey last October, and it differed a bit from the replica I got. First off, the striping made a wide "V" looking pattern under the sleeves, and then when it met it went down as a stripe. On the replica, it's just a plain ol stripe. Another example would be the replica of the sweet-ass San Diego powder blues have no white around the bolt on the shoulders. The authentics, of course, do. So this is kinda dissappointing that they can't take the time to make the replicas look just a bit more like the real thing

If you look closely the number "1" on Warners Jersey differ from those on Fitzgeralds Jersey. The numbers "1" on Fitzgeralds Jersey have a little "hook" on them while the ones on Warners Jersey the "1" is Just straight up and down like a lowercase "L". Are the number fonts different on each the Home and Away Jerseys?

hey i just emailed the cards and also sent them a picture of dansby in the white jersey with the red pants but i changed the socks i painted in a white sock with the thin black stripe matching what is on the jerseys and pants bordering the top and bottom of a thick red stripe. lets see if they bite on that. god i hope they would it looks a thousand times better. by the way i just bought a white antrell rolle jersey online but i'll be waiting a little while for that until he gets a number i heard 21.
