1- Tampa Bay Storm vs. Orlando Predators (War on I-4)

2- playoff game @ home in the St Pete Times Forum, on the road in the TD Waterhouse Centre or in ArenaBowl XIX in Vegas at the Thomas and Mack Center

3- June

4- STORM!!!!!!!

i went to the St. Pete times Forum last week and they had the Storms field outside the forum and i got to run around on it. It was pretty cool.

Anyay,

1). Bucs vs. Patriots

2). Raymond James Stadium

3). Super Bowl XXXidontcarewhathtenumberisVIIIX (and yes, Tampa has made the Super Bowl, when it is in Tampa :P )

4). The Pewter Pirates

I would've loved to have gone to the Falcons-Panthers game the year before last when Vick made his return from his injury. The whole city was electrified for one night, and the Georgia Dome was the center of it all.

But really, the only sporting event that I would kill to go to would be a Super Bowl with the Falcons in it that we actually had a good chance to win, unlike the Elway show in 1999 ^_^

Yeah well you stole the Campbell Conference Championship, so it all evened itself out.

Which brings me to my selection...

Leafs vs Canadiens

Stanley Cup Final (should've happened in 1993... see above mini-rant)

Game Seven

Air Canada Centre (much roomier than MLG)

Go Leafs :)

Well, if the Leafs had killed penalties with any resemblance of competence in Game 6, then Gretzky's alleged high-stick wouldn't have mattered (I mean, FOUR power play goals in one game?!? COME ON!!!). Nor would there have been a Game 7 for him to rip the Leafs apart. Leafs fans can only blame their own team's inability to perform when it counts for their mysery.

At least I can acknowledge both Marty McSorley and Jacques Demers for having something to do with the grand larceny that was the '93 Finals. Leafs fans need to stop blaming other people and look at their own damn team for letting them down time after time after time...

I never seem to tire of hearing Kings fans talk about how they were robbed of the Cup--I mean you need to win 4 games and how many did they win in the finals?

And the instant replay came into being the season after LA won a series on a goal that shouldn't have counted and that came after one against them that should have--with instant replay they would have had to go to game 7...

Gretz should've been in the box for 4 minutes -- just like McSorley should've used a legal stick.

End of story.

I never seem to tire of hearing Kings fans talk about how they were robbed of the Cup--I mean you need to win 4 games and how many did they win in the finals?

But what are the chances of a team coming back from a 2-0 series defecit? And what are those chances when that team lost the first two games on home ice? I'm just saying the odds (and momentum) would have been greatly on the Kings' side, and I'm sick of Leafs fans blaming everyone else for their ineptitude. Even The Score failed to realize that the Kings had 4 PP goals in game 6 when they ran their bullplop "What If...?" story in March to fill in between strongman competitions and the re-airing of the 1980 Stanley Cup. I know The Score is based in Toronto, but give me a break. Show an ounce of objectivity every once in a while...

And Break-Wood....winning 24 Cups isn't that hard when 14 of them came when there were only six teams and 8 more came before 1980...even Leafs fans know that! :P

(EDIT: It was The Score, not TSN running the "what if..." stuff. I apologize to TSN....)
