Yeah, congrats to the Sox. I was highly disappointed that my Astros didn't play better, because I expected this to be a long, dramatic series. Still, I have to say it was the most entertaining sweep I've ever watched!

Again, congrats to the Sox. And congrats to the Astros for winning their first pennant in team history as well. Everybody wins.

Well, this was anti-climactic. :P

Congrats to the Sox. Now it's all up to the Cubbies....but don't hold your breath.

(Actually, I shouldn't say that. The way things are going right now, the Cubs are due next. Still, holding one's breath can NOT be good for the brain.)

Clearly the "curses" have been either lifted or in the process of being exorcised.

2004 - Boston Red Sox win first championship in 86 years

2005 - Chicago White Sox win first championship in 88 years

Pattern?

Thus,My outlandish prediction for 2006 is.....

Chicago Cubs win the Series. (They're all that's left)

You heard it here first. ;)

Congratulations to the White Sox.

You did the American League proud. Not to mention the fact you made this Yankee fan happy by destroying the Red Sox.

Congratulations Southsiders.

Hahahaha... but your Yankees didn't win yet a World Series this century. The Red Sox already won pennants and World Series in two centuries. ;)

And the Red Sox made happy the Red Sox fans by destroying the Yankees in the memorable 2004 ALCS.

Now, let's begin the Disco Demolition Night v2.0!!!

At least you are sincere when you signed "Mr. Bandwagon" because you thanked the White Sox for winning over the Red Sox.

Wow. Thats bold. But not as bold as this.

ALCS - Athletics over Yankees

NLCS - Giants over Nationals

2006 World Series - Cancelled due to earthquake :P

I gotta say, its hard to see guys from last years Giants team like A.J Pyerzinski, who had a lot of distractions and social problems with the Giants pitchers last year, and Dustin Hermenson, who was dismal down the stretch. Its also hard to see a guy like Jermaine Dye, who the A's chose not to resign in favor of a younger team, Win the World Series MVP.

Hopefully (especially for the Giants) next year turns out to be our turn
