I think these would look better if the insert was orange or they just had an all brown shirt. I'm not a big fan of alternate colored stripes across the shoulders or the USC inserts that adidas has rolled out.

Bowling Green has a new logo, right? Then how come they use the old Falcon on their Football outfits?

I like them. Of course they need to be 'updated' a lil' bit if the school decides to use them regularly. I think the Cleveland Browns style Brown uni with Orange Helmet is always a winner.

Interesting. An alternate jersey that absolutely does not go with the rest of the uniform.

And by interesting, I mean ugly.

Pretty cool.... but the pants and shoulder stripes/wedge clash against the 3-line stripe on the helmet.

And, somebody, please kill that 70s bird on the helmet and put a nice simple "BG" on the helmet.

I have a few issuse about these...

1) their jerseys looked closer to BLACK than brown

2) The white stripe on the shoulder just didnt work...maybe some orange trim somewhere?

3) The pants...the color is great but that "almost" stripe at the very bottom? That Atlanta Falcon design just dosent work for me

C'mon lets get some real pant stripes going

A couple of comments. The Brown looked brown in person. I agree I don't like the shoulder one color stripes, but they actually are the same template Northwestern had a coule years ago WITH the fang thing on the pant leg.

Here is what BG has in their current set (orange on orange and white on white, the mixed it up a couple times and it looked bad, the brown was for the rivalry game and was the tradtional home jersey until the early 90s when they wore orange for the first time)

If they switch to the new bird i think they go white helmet and a helmet striping similar to Louisville like this:

I also think their brown should have matched their current scheme and used the new wordmakr instead of going as a quasi throwback/alternate jersey... something like this:

Of course if they want to stick with orange jerseys I like this set , a lot! Just wish they would use my designs!!!!!!!

That was a shame. They could've done something nice, and the jerseys missed the mark IMO.

Orange helmet and pants, but zero orange on the jerseys, just brown and white. Even a little orange stripe or outline would've done wonders.

When your colors are that unique, might as well make the most of them, and these didn't.

Its possible im the only one, but i LOVED that brown jersey. i thought it looked solid with all the white
