Coach Brown said "no, not ever". This led to an anecdote from the SID about UT legend Darrell Royal putting an end to the black accents that Reebok added to some of the UT sportswear in the 90's (not the uni's, just the sportswear).Much like Dean Smith at UNC, Darrell Royal basically has to give approval on these sorts of things. It's tough to make it there (at least for the big 10), so that was a good way to show that. I sure beats the hell out of the ginormous patches michigan uses.During the Big twelve championship game (if you'll call it a game), someone had a poster with the rose in the longhorns mouth. it looked pretty cool.boiler up! This guy doesn't walk on water, and I still don't see a national title in Young's resume.Besides, Mack Brown has been the best college football recruiter going back to when he built a Top 10 program at a basketball school in a basketball conference. He'll do just fine without Vince, black jerseys be damned.Vince can take what he wants and cram it. Darrell Royal, Mack Brown and the other adults realize that burnt orange works just fine as it is, and black didn't pan out so well for the basketball team, now did it. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
