DEAD!
Perhaps you can ship those letters to somewhere in Fisherman's Wharf advertising for PK CRABS.... I saw, I came, I left.
tp49
That must have been recent since the SBC Park lettering was still over Willie Mays Gate last Tuesday.

FiddySicks
I remember a few years ago some guy got arrested trying to sneak off with one of the letters form the PACIFIC BELL PARK sign. Someone called the cops because he brought the letter on BArt. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) CZzyzx41
I don't know where the letters go but whatever's done with them, I'm sure there will be some environmental groups there to protest it. Why even continue to rename the park? Just call it MPD Park and be done with it.OK I guess Willy Mays Field would work as well. -DanielCheck Out My Podcast! The_Admiral
San Francisco Park. You can't call it Giant Stadium, obviously, and I don't know about Willie Mays. Mac the Knife
heres an idea stop with the corporate name on stadium nonsense and call it Willie Mays Park. If you cough up $300 million or so for naming rights, I'm sure the Giants will let you call it whatever you'd like. Hell, for $300 million, you could probably get them to rename Dodger Stadium "Willie Mays Park."
The_Admiral
You'd think AT&T would just pull out like Edison did. How does this increase visibility for AT&T? ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

The stadium wouldn't be there if it wasn't for Willie Brown. They would have found another sponser to kick in the money for naming rights had it not been Pac Bell/SBC/AT&T. otherwilds
Maybe this time they'll be sold to the Columbia Broadcasting System. Or maybe the Bowl Championship Series. Yeah I bet Letteman could have some fun with those. And om a tangetn the new (old) AT&T is most likely to re-name cingular as AT&T, will the Death Star logo be far behind from taking over the world. Jeff Burton will lose his Nascar sponsoship if that happens too (Nextel won't let them change the name, that ride and the Alltel care were grandfathered in).
