The game feels like they rushed it, so i could see them having nice add-ons to the game for free, like Halo 2 did. (but Halo 2 was certainly NOT rushed)I predict the uniforms will be free, they just are waiting to get the real deals...which i am ALL for. bigwalk Posted July 26, 2006 Share Posted July 26, 2006 Texas Tech has a bizarre combination of uniforms...the uniforms they wore last year, a black alternate (which has a red stripe, making it the opposite of the red uniform, except the pants have no stripe), and the white uniform with white pants (though the white pants mirror the black pants in that they have no stripe.) Discrim Posted July 26, 2006 Share Posted July 26, 2006 hormone im with you on the miami white-on-white situation. very frustrating and cant seem to figure out a way around it. the white-on-white is such a clean look but its pretty much worthless in the game if the other team is going to be in white tops, too. you would think there would be an easy fix to this, but doesnt seem like it... So far just as I've played around a bit, the only way around it is this. Play Boston College at Boston. Choose their red/red alt. It is treated as an "away" alt (and their white/gold combo is a home mistake too) and then choose Miami's "home" white/white combo. It is frustrating. I wonder how many more teams are messed up like this? I know since the Falcons went to their current unis, Madden's had their white jersey/black pants combo treated as a dark jersey for some reason, and it pisses me off.I recall in NCAA 04 one of Vandy's gold jersey combos was treated as a white jersey, while the other was treated as a dark jersey. or something to that effect. EA loves to hear from the fans, they used to get madden ideas and fixes from a website where fans posted ideas, and what needed to be done in the next year game, if you want it fix go fire off some e-mails to EA or go to one of the Madden fan sites (which EA also looks at). I was stunned at the awesome graphics for madden 06 but the game took a nose dive in features. its almost as if they spent so much time on graphics that they ran outta time for the rest. The blue was too dark and the pants were either blue or white and they didn't have have a red alternate? They should have a Royal, White, and Red Jersey with one color option of Grey/Silver pants. Last year, due to the announcement of the 360 at E3 in early May, it's easy to imagine none of the developers (well, save in-house Microsoft ones) were using the "final" development hardware to make games - only partially-updated hardware, or guesses. Because having features and stats for your new console leaked through third-party developers isn't a good thing.Anyways, they had a short development cycle for the game because of that - although, if you look at the screen shots and work on the 360 versions after Madden for current-gen was released in early August, they look 1000% better - because they had the primary Madden team working on it.the 360 version will have a full, regular development cycle behind it; if you have a 360, I would imagine a demo will come out on XBL Arcade for Madden in the weeks leading up to '07s release, so look for that.------crap, I forgot to go look at XBL Marketplace for you guys. The thing is, if you have to get the alternate jerseys off of Marketplace, they cost "microsoft points"; the common method of acquiring points? Put 'em on your credit card.now, this isn't the bad part about this; people know the deal with micro-transactions on XBL Marketplace, etc. The fact that the alternate jerseys are on Marketplace instead of in the game as they should be, for free in the first place is the horrible part.I'll make a note to go check that tonight. If you're up 41-7 with 2 minutes left in the game, the other team onside kicks repeatedly and plays harder than they did all game. I've had games wehre theres 4 seconds left in a blowout and the other team calls a timeout to try to give them another play as though they could win!? Then the go for a 60 yard bomb and make some rediculous catch and you end up winning 41-14 and all it did was ruin your defensive stats. No team does that!!!!! My team has a shutout going and with 10 secs left the go with a bomb and the usually score. Your right no one do that and my stats suffer. U of Hawaii Warriors 3 Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 Has anyone played in Aloha Stadium? b/c the fact that they have the "Jeep Oahu/Aloha Bowl" logo in some spots is just ludacris... those bowl games have been dead for 5 + years.. and i know they havent had th logos in previous versions of the game.
