single shoulder stripes are reminiscent of the Euro '04 kits, which is alright. the current kits look good on England...and nobody else, except maybe the Swedes. that's the only thing I don't like about the current kit, it was too specialized for England IMO, but that's a minor complaint (though Lyon pull it off superbly too, I suppose....gah, undermining my own argument).

i just hope brazil's 2010 world cup jersey is good just like the 06 WC jersey.cause the 2002 WC jersey looked like a hawaiian jersey  .

but im excepting their off world cup jersey to look plain, regular and ugly.(BRAZIL)

but why all the off world cups jerseys look ugly and not so high quality for?im asuming cause its the world cup the teams have to look proper in front of thw world stage.

i wished brazil would keep their 2006WC jersey until 2010. i like them alot. besides they go perfectly with my ronaldinho UPTOWNS(af1's)

Nah, Sweden's Umbro kit screamed "Umbro wants us to look like England! Obviously it didn't work!" It frankly didn't look as good as England's, for some reason.

As for the new kit. It's nice, but it needs something to make it a real winner. Won't stop me from getting one in a few months, though. ;)

[Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008

Hm. I think I like the racing stripe look. Not as much as their look for the WC (hell, anybody who wasn't wearing adidas looked fantastic last year), but it's still a solid look for non-WC years.

I don't think I've said this before, but I believe that when England goes with the red shirt-white pants-red socks kit, and the jersey is as shirt is as plain as can be, then they are the best looking international team in the world. Seriously.

The latest possible kit for England

<snip image, it's in the post above mine>

Honestly, If this is it, I'll turn Portuguese.

Good G-d, that sucks. I hope it isn't that.

This is one reason I only buy the World Cup year home kits, they're usually to a higher standard than the European Championship homes. The only exception being the WC'98 kit which was ugly compared to the Euro '96 homes.

The latest possible Home Kit for England

This likely isn't it. There is a second Umbro logo on the right sleeve so this is most likely just a fan jersey. Same for the Wolverine jersey shown earlier. I think that if the jersey stays this plain the number needs to be put back in the center and away fromt he right side, I personally think it looks stupid there. Puma for the most part has started to correct this on their kits hopefully Umbro and adidas follow suit.

the diamonds on the righ shoulder are the same as those employed by everton this season, and the 3 lions logo down the sides is reminiscent of lyons (umbro designed) home kit this year...

the star above the logo looks very like the one in the official release date poster i think...this might be it...

Isn't there a rule against multiple manufacturer logos? Where they tried to ban the 3 Adidias stripes?

If so, then that can't be it. You're right about the shoulder thing, though.

That's Wimbledon.
