That shoulder mark looks sweet though, a great update of the horrible original logo. What the hell is the reasoning behind that?I mean i know they used to have it like that back in the day, but it just doesn't look right. I'm all for retro, i think retro is awesome for the NHL as some of the reto stuff is 1000x better than the crap that we've all been used to the past few years. But the C & A on the right side just looks weird to me, i mean if a team like buffalo is going to use #'s on the right side, are they now flipping it to the left or keeping the C on the left?Damn it. Detroit will be the only team doing that.The way the Wings tell the story of the design process, it sounds like they had only veto rights, which they repeatedly used until they got what they wanted. Sounds like RBK tried to make changes but the Wings said no to them until the design was what we see above. So for those looking for people to blame, I say it's the teams' fault for not vetoing further and RBK's fault for awful ideas in the first place. RBK for thinking of this idea. Some teams including Detroit's, I think cannot be touched. You would think RBK's last thing on their mind would be " where can we put the C ?". On the other hand you can blame the Team Owner(s) for no re-voting something else, since they refused.Its not bad since they are going back in history and going back to use the other side.
