What was up with the call in the Texas A+M - Fresno State game??????

That looked like a fumble and touchback to me.

EDIT: Holy crap, now they reverse it on a second challenge as a fumble and touchback, however they call a QB interference call on TAMU. What a wacky game.

What conference are the refs from?

I believe they said WAC, but the replay officials are from the BIG XII.

also, their definatly should have been a QB interference, it was blatant.

Fresno just mada a FG to tie it at 32, going to a 2nd OT.

That's right... So, how 'bout some dap for my Huskies, eh? Come on... Oh, and for you Buckeye fans, here's something to chew on while your team half assed their way past Akron: THIS is how you beat a team!
Well, now I guess there's a lot of people who don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan.

I can't help but laugh at Michigan.. Oh, how the mighty have fallen... But, as a treat for Michigan fans while they are trying to avoid an 0-3 start next week, They can watch U-Dub show the world how you break a Buckeye in half. :)

OSU didn't look that good against Youngstown State either. This could indeed be cause for concern. That or the Big Ten is indeed down this year. (As I see Penn State is only up by a touchdown over Notre Dame). Lloyd Carr should resign now, before he is found dead or something this week.

(Still winless since Bo passed away....)

As a Nebraska fan, should I be heartened or worried by the results of today's game at Wake?

VERRY worried, cause next week USC is gonna kill then and then Nov 10th they will get smoked again by KSU!!!!! :D

It's a given they're losing to USC...but the KSU game is in Lincoln, so the Huskers are going to neuter the Wildcats, and then shove those stupid "power towels" up their collective arses.

A&M just won a wild one, 47-45.

Wow. Great game. That call had me baffled for a while (end of 1st OT).

I sort of wanted them to lose so I could make this arrogant post demanding the Big XII kick them out for dishonoring it. :P

Notre Dame has lost more yards in penalties than they have gained on offense. Way to go Charlie Weis!

Poor Temple....*shakes head*

Leave it to Deadspin to sum up the day for Michigan fans...

At least Michigan has the Lions to root for tomorrow.

[Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008

I got home today from the Mets game and I was stunned to see Michigan losing again, but taken further by how quiet the crowd was. I dont think its possible 110,000 fans could have made less noise.

Louisiana Tech 21, Hawaii 14 at the half

Make that 21-21.

Also, SC beat #11 Georgia 16-12.

#19 TCU leads #7 Texas 10-7 just into the 3rd quarter.

PSU beat up on Notre Dame 31-10. Now both Notre Dame and Michigan are 0-2 going into their game. :o

It's not over yet.

0:22 left and Georgia is driving.

[edit] OK, it's over. 0:06 left after South Carolina intercepted a pass.

And that has never happened before. So...is this still Ty Willingham's fault?

Nope. Ty is too busy resurrecting U-Dub's past glory to take that bullet for the Fightless Irish.

Speaking of coaches in deep doo-doo... You may want to add Gene Chizik to that list as Iowa State is stinking it up against Northern Iowa. At last check, it was 24-13 Panthers in the 4th Quarter.

I have an idea: Instead of changing uniforms next year, can they like... oh, I dunno, put people on the field who have talent?!?

LSU 24, Va Tech 0. With 11:55 to go in the 2nd Quarter.

Methinks the Hokies are overrated.

That and they should quietly disband at halftime.
