Removal of silver from Cleveland's uniform is a good idea - it was unnecessary....and the White Sox's vest tops. is gone too - which is great because

it doesn't add anything.

The wordmark Toronto on the road jerseys is very hard to read - but everyone knows it's the Blue Jays anyway.

Otherwise it's a ho-hum year in next year's changes.

What really needs to be gone for 08 is those hideous black Colorado Rockies vest jerseys - at least they don't wear the purple shirts underneath it.

new phils alt? sweeeeeet!!!

I'm hoping the alt set involves them wearing a blue hat like the one they wore in the mid '90s.

I hope the change to the Braves BP hat is that they will put the tomahawk "A" on the hat. The only reason why I didn't buy the new hat is because it didn't have that logo.

I, too, am glad the Indians are taking silver from their set. Their set was flawless before that change. Also, I'd guess that it is the "I" hat and the white jerseys with Chief Wahoo on them that will be nixed.

I for one didn't mind the Tribe using silver, the only thing that bugged me was the drop shadow on the player names.

"Devil-free" Rays: yeesh...not horrible, but um...mama always said if you aint got nothin nice to say, don't say nothin. so I'll be nice and call these uninspired.

the A's black alts: 8 years later, they're still pointless. at least they threw gold in this time.

Jays' throwbacks and Tribe throwbacks: who'da thunk what the Sox did back in 01 woulda started a trend that seems like it's starting to take the league by storm?

Phils' throwback-ish alts: the blue hats were underrated, and I think I might like this uniform better than the normal homes. my only real concern is the red spikes might seem a bit out of place with this uniform.

Royals' light blue alts: well, these don't suck. I'd buy an authentic if I could afford one, for what it's worth.

Scroll down for every new patch and jersey.

The Indians have the best new threads for 08 - very retro (early 50's)

If the A's are going to black - it won't change anything - it will still be hideous... Just leave it at green and gold - the simpler the better - and what

they have now is ok...

The Rays is good - but ordinary...except for the alternates... I see a little bit of those awful football side panels on the cap and on the jersey.

The Blue Jays got it right - with the powder blues - the Royals got it half right - it should all be powder blue just like the Jays and like those old

Royals road uniforms from the 80s....

The Phillies is OK - i still prefer the pinstripes however..they've always had it since the 1950s.

I thought that maybe the Indians change would be to add a red alt, since I saw a lot of red in the stands during the Tigers sweep. The past two days it seemed like everyone in the stands was wearing red. A "C" cap is a good addition.

The Royals light blue is nice, but I'd have preferred the darker blue be used as an outline. (And I think the reason they've waited so long to bring the powders back is because they wanted to find a way to avoid the matching pants.)

A's black looks better ... is this the start of the Fremont look?

And the Phillies... not bad, but I could see the blue cap being ditched again.

And that list is missing something, anything for the Cubs. (Still waiting for a road uni tweak.)

Well if we lose 2 games in a row in them, im sure they will dissapear, which is always a stupid reason, either way im pickin up that hat.

I am kinda sad tho if the interleague hat is gone.

A's Black Uniform...looks good on paper - bad on TV...

From what the posts say...it will still be green with gold(yellow) and white lettering rather than just gold lettering.

What tweak do you want to see with the Cubs' Jerseys?

In my case.. I would like to see the Giants in white rather than cream... (They went to white with the double knit version of the 1958 uniform in 1972).

I think those are mislabeled. They look like BP's to me and not alternates since the hats have that dumb side paneling dealie that all BP hats have. And a lot of teams have side panels on their BP jerseys, too, like these new Rays ones.
