Getting so close to draft time this is when we usually see new uniforms or logos make an appearence. Is there any franchises getting new threads this year or is it gonna be a quiet off season?

i'd assume the ravens and that's only cause i work in a sporting goods store and all of our ravens crap is 33%-75% off.

It's probably because of the new league logo.

There's been a lot of speculation about the Dolphins going retro or at least dumping the navy blue. Other than that, probably just a few more teams gaining a throwback or switching to black shoes, which are quickly becoming the dominant shoe color.

I can't really think of the last time no teams got new unis in a season...

Last I heard, the Dolphins, Bills and Saints were gearing up for some tweaks, but take that with a grain of salt. You know how the good folks at the rumor mill love to keep us guessing.

In all seriousness, I heard that the Dolphins were going to make some adjustments, which would probably be a slight modernization a la the 2006 Vikings. I would never hope to see these, however.

The Patriots did in fact change in 2000... From royal blue to navy, and changed the uniforms.

Actually wouldn't it be 2003? And the Texans were in 2002, but do expansions count? haha.

And the Giants switched back to the "ny" logo in 2000 also.

Saints switched/updated logos in 2000.

Don't know if this means anything or not, but on the TESS site Buffalo, Miami and New Orleans all have recent trademark filings with just the team name listed where a logo should be. All of these filings happened before last season started. Also, on one of the Saints message boards someone quoted the Saints' GM as stating that the new uniforms wouldn't be drastic, but would be incorporating striping. Of course, this is all really just speculation until something is officially released.

If the Saints are making a change, we should know by the draft. If they know anything about marketing and plan to change the uni, they'll have their #1 pick up there holding the new jersey.

The Bills desire to go throwback has been speculated about for a couple of years now. Two seaesons ago the wanted to wear them full time but the NFL shut it down because of the two year filing deadline. 2008 would put us at two years and 5 since they last changed. i wouldnt be suprised to see them make the change, in fact, id be shocked if they didnt

whatever happened to that logo somebody mentioned the 49ers had up their sleeves, I remember hearing about it on the Texans battle red uni thread and their lame secondary logo that came with that.
