I think that they just don't translate the proper noun into Spanish.I'm not saying I'm a fan of this, I'm not, that's just why I think they do it.Yeah, this is definitely more about "trademark protection" than accuracy. Does Espanophone media call them that, and if they do, is it because of the team's Cerveceros initiative even though they were just fine calling them "Los Brewers" before that? I had come to accept that they were decent looking, but even in pictures they look pitiful. There are too many colors, not enough of a main font sticks out. It's just this goofy outline around the name and the number that just looks lame. It's official: that look is terrible. But you know what that means? They're going to the NBA Finals! I was holding out hope that they may have switched the red alternate to a more retro (with maybe a modern twist) style. That short template would look pretty nice. Though, I think only the trim (and the colors in general) resemble the Warriors. The lid is off on all the corruption that taints just about every major program and every decision that the schools or the NCAA make is only about money, money, and more money. We'll have three 16+ team super-conferences sooner rather than later, killing much of the regional flair and traditional rivalries that make college sports unique and showing the door to any school that doesn't bring money to the table in the process.
