rams80
Paying for a game that doesn't count, featuring players that'll be bagging groceries in September? Suckers!Allow me to emphasize the "First time I will have ever seen an actual Rams game in person" part of that quote chain. [rationalization]Besides, it's the "3rd Preseason Game" and the Rams could have another injury plagued year like they do every other[/rationalization] On 8/1/2010 at 4:01 PM, winters in buffalo said: You manage to balance agitation with just enough salient points to keep things interesting. A milestone or two by my favorite player of all time. A funny blooper. And a great late come from behind result.Oh yeah. Isaac Bruce reached the milestone with the stupid 49ers. The blooper was Rams 98th string running back Kenneth Darby getting punched out by the back judge*, and it was the 49ers spoiling what was looking like an actual decent game by the Rams to send fans and the team home with a season ending loss.Ugh.*- 1. I actually really like Kenneth Darby after what he showed last year despite my shot at him being the "98th" stringer.2.3. After the aforementioned play, my buddy stands up and yells "you just ruined our season!". Drew some mild laughs. Pretty sure they turned into tears. Jigga
The charities that receive NFL fine money are going to miss him, too. He was a hell of a player, truly HoF material, but he's going to be remember for being dirty as much (if not more) than he's going to be remembered for being great. gingerbreadmann
But you know why he was so great? The way every single fan who is not a fan of his team, and every player who isn't his teammate, really, truly hates him. And how everyone on/a fan of the team he is on loves him. And the best part is that he couldn't give two :censored:s about people who hate him. There's something about him, that polarizing aspect, other guys just don't have it. I'm sure Charger fans have an idea of what I am talking about. But he is incredible in that way.You all can remember him as a dirty thug, whatever you want. But I don't know how to not understate what he meant in his 6 years here. Through everything, one of my favorite players ever. Thanks Rodney. speedy
Sad to see Rodney go out the way he did. You just knew it was it last season when Bruschi went over to him, truely emotional scene, for a guy who gave it all during is years in NE. The only thing that makes this day in football better is Tony Dungy calling out the Bears and their QB Steve Baldwin. Can't wait to see the Pack beat the living hell out of him next season. tBBP
That's great news for you Chicagoans, if only because you no longer have to hear this oft-repeated soundbite (or some variant of it) from your boy Lovie:"Rex is our quarterback." *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
