randyc
With them just layed out like that on the template, I like them, but I'm gonna hold back until I see them on ice, before I decide if I like them or not.
NEW.ERA
I don't know which Ref Uniform looks more like Newcastle United's home kit the NFL or the NHL but I do like that look of these can't wait to see them in action. TFoA
As long as it doesn't clash with anything that a team might wear, and it doesn't look like a clown suit, then it's ok in my book.

What can they do to make them lighter without going thinner and flimsier? Sodboy13
the jerseys that will be worn by the Eastern and Western Conference NHL All-Stars will include Reebok's patent-pending Smoothfit? performance name and numbering technology, which allows players to move more efficiently on the ice and will contribute to improved moisture management. The Smoothfit? performance name and numbering technology eliminates up to 35 percent of the weight inherent to the traditional name and numbering system, which in many cases, includes multiple layers of twill.Does this mean the advent of single-layer screened customization for authentic NHL jerseys? Wally1912
Does this mean the advent of single-layer screened customization for authentic NHL jerseys?I'm going to guess it is something like the heat-pressed Lextra numbers on MLB batting practice jerseys and various scoccer kits.I personally don't think moving away from layered twill is a good move. Jarred Revolver
At least this time with new ref jerseys, they kept the orange arm band instead of making it silver like they did at the All-Star game a couple years ago.
YELDARBfield
"New" NFL refs unis + EDGE fabrics = this.Fun stuff. The Refs' orange bands are odd, but they don't look bad. Twitter • Facebook • Instagram • LinkedIn • Tumblr

oddball
Who cares? It's a ref? Do we go to see the refs? No. But I have to defend them, unlike other sports where they are fat, bet on games, drunk(soccer), or are just so old and senile that they can't remember a coin flip, hockey officials are the best conditioned athletes in all of sports. STL FANATIC
Eh. I like them. And I've always wondered why twill was always used over something lighter. I know we all like the quality better, but for a uniform that does everything else to be great for play, that clashes. But of course it's announced right after I sent my new Blues jersey in for $85 sewn on twill customization. BBTV
I like 'em, but I always thought that the orange band snapped on so that the shirt could be for a R or a LM. I guess this means the end of that. "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed."
