2009 NBA Playoffs

The Hawks had a great season. Even though they got swept, I'm still proud of them. If they can get a good, tall center, they'll be contenders for sure.

But you got Zaza! WTF are you complaining about?

:P :P

P.S. George f'in Karl and the Denver f'in Nuggets are going to get a playoff sweep of the Dallas Mavericks. A SWEEP. (Well, they were up 9 when I posted this, but now it's not so sure. Edit 2: Oops, jinxed it!) Can you believe it?

AI sucks. Hard.

I have a strong feeling the Cavaliers will be 12-4 when this set of playoffs is done.

Yeah but your "Feelings" on things are generally worth as much as old Enron stock to most of us here.

I think this is a must win for Orlando. I just think that winning a game 7 in Boston will be one hell of a hill to climb, even if Orlando is the better team. Without KG, Orlando is the better team. Sadly, not by that much. Nelson injury hurt.

Reggie Miller, you suck at color commentating.

Go away.

If Reggie Miller's play-by-play partner was Matt Devlin, that would be hell.

I have to listen to Matt Devlin in all of the Raptors' 82 games. He's flat out terrible.

So yeah, that ball most definitely didn't hit the rim. Orlando is pulling off the rare "choke-and-screw."

Yep, they've officially been chopped and screwed.

Screw-screwed, chop-chopped, and screwed.

I think its time to call it, the criticism about Stan Van Gundy choking is true, it just seems the tighter the situation the tighter he gets the the tighter his team gets.

Orlando's not gonna win a championship with SVG in charge unless they're a team chock-full of playoff vets. As they are right now, they are basically masters of the choke job. They give up 4th quarter playoff leads like loose women change clothes.

That's why Riley fired him in Miami, and we all know how that turned out

As the Magic get better their playoff expectations will increase, if these problems keep happening it will lead to his ouster in Orlando.

Yeah, but how long? This is the best season they had in awhile as far as playoff progression goes.

Lakers by 40...

Game set match, methinks...

Bring on Denver

The last time we said that was when Yao went down and we all know what happened then.
