FiddySicks
If the Heatly deal goes down, hands down Edmonton wins. They wont miss Cogliano, Penner or Smid. At this point in time, Penner and Cogliano are 2nd liners at best. They'll miss Cogliano in the long run, Penner was a waste of skin.Anaheim is still laughing at Edmonton for that one. Shane Does Art
Hmm... I like the addition of Cogliano, not really feeling Dustin Penner, or Smid, but I guess we'll have to see what happens. Maybe Penner can return to playing the way he did in Anaheim.I really thought Cogliano was going to be one of the cornerstones of the Oilers for years to come. It definitely gives us some depth up front, and frees up some room to go after a winger for the top line. Hi, how are you?

Linus
I think Cogliano is a great addition for Ottawa and I like him as a player but I dont think he'll ever be a legit NHL star.I know he's still young but he only has 83 career points in 164 games. If Heatly agrees to the trade, Ottawas offensive production is going to drop. Cogliano and Penner probably wont score 50 goals combined. beLEAF

Corvus
If and when Bouwmeester doesn't sign I expect the Flames to go hard afterBrian GiontaMikael SamuelssonFrancois Beauchemin Hal GillChristian BackmanAnd maybe even Tyler Pyatt? There all within the Flames range. You probably don't want the team you're a fan off to sign Taylor Pyatt. He's an OK penalty killer, but thats basically his only redeeming quality as an NHL'er. He's a big man who plays small, doesn't score, and isn't that quick. Guy had a horrible thing happen to him, but his play was bad before that. Also, I never understand players like Bouwmeester signing a contract when you could be an RFA in a few hours. Just baffling. Sure they can improve here and there, but for the most part the team stayed intact. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Jesus, learn the word. Also, unless they unload salaries, they're hooped. If they run into injury troubles again, and they will, then once again, they're backed up against the cap. It killed them last year, and it'll kill them again this year. Welcome to DrunjFlix

Hopefully it sorts itself out somehow.I mean I wouldn't be so upset if this was just another Yashin but this is much worse. The organization bent over backwards for him. When he was traded to Ottawa, he did everything he could to make Heatley satisfied. From hiring his own private driver since his license was suspended from the Snyder incident to making sure all the community service that Dany had to do was out of the public and media's eye.We bent over backwards for that jerk, to have him skip out after one bad season because he felt he got blame that he didn't deserve. If anything he was one of the players that didn't get so beat up by the fans and the media. Makes me respect Jason Spezza a whole lot more. That guy has been torn to shreds by everybody and he just took it and continues trying to get better.Heatley will be booed louder than Yashin, I'll tell you that much. Hi, how are you?
