Drew22 186 Posted November 16, 2009 UNC tried to give it away, but they pull it out against Valpo. They'll need some work if they want to survive Cal, OSU/Syracuse, Michigan State, Kentucky, and Texas.
rams80 4,275 Posted November 16, 2009 Somehow, I doubt we will ever see this on "The Big Ten's Greatest Games".
Drew22 186 Posted November 17, 2009 Kentucky may have farther to go than UNC. They beat Miami 72-70 on a shot by John Wall with .5 seconds left. That's Miami of Ohio not Miami (FL).
CDixonDesign 178 Posted November 17, 2009 Kentucky is really younger than the Heels, but the hype surrounding Wall has lead people to believe otherwise. The Heels struggles are merited, only thier 3rd game together, the kinks will get worked out, but they dont have much time with a tough non conference schedule breathing down thier necks...

CDixonDesign 178 Posted November 17, 2009 Watched the last few min. of regulation and OT, great job by the Titans to get thier first win against UCLA...
fiasco! 29 Posted November 17, 2009 Great start to the day with a helluva game between Drexel and Niagara. God bless college hoops. Clemson can't miss against Liberty so far.

dfwabel 4,155 Posted November 17, 2009 They needed a week before airing 24 hours of games. The first half of Temple/Georgetown was dreadful, and the same can be said for the Siena and Clemson games.
rams80 4,275 Posted November 18, 2009 You know, games like these don't exactly disabuse me of the notion that Bruce Pearl is a colossal asshat.

Is Tennessee taking the clock down to as close to zero as possible or pulling a Grinnell instead.
TFoA 54 Posted November 18, 2009 Asheville is currently shooting 8 for 55...that is ludicrously bad. They could be playing the NJIT that went 1-59 and lose.

Seadragon76 871 Posted November 18, 2009 Well, if you can't score and can't defend, you're more then likely going to get your ass kicked massively. That was the case here. UNC-Asheville couldn't shoot (16 for 67 in shots, only 1 three pointer made) and they couldn't defend Tenneesee's seemingly high powered offense (46 for 77 in shots and they made 16 threes) yet UNC-Asheville, despite how badly they were whipped, outrebounded Tenneessee 42-41 (20-10 on offensive rebounds).
RyanMcD29 824 Posted November 19, 2009 Oh boy tonight starts the killer stretch of Cal, UNC/Ohio State, and Cornell for the Orange. If they come out of this stretch with a win in NYC and taking care of business against the fellow CNY school, I'll be pretty happyOh, and be on the lookout tomorrow night because there's about 60 of us SU students heading to the Garden for both games of the 2K Sports Classic
