IceCap
I like how they just sort of stuck the Green Ranger in the back there. Zordon wasn't paying for a sixth chair. The_Admiral
It is very possible that the last Winnipeg Jets game was a playoff loss to the Red Wings and that the last Phoenix Coyotes game could be a playoff loss to... the Red Wings! We said this last year and they still wouldn't die. Wings are gonna have to roll out the Ultrazord on this one.Should help the Coyotes' books that Hockey Strip Mall will once again be up to its balls in Michiganders, nasally bleating about avenging prior scheduling losses.Hey, this happened! ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

The_Admiral
Yes. This also makes Colin Campbell the Putty Patrol on the basis of spouting a bunch of crap that doesn't make any sense. IceCap
Bill Daly as Goldar. I think Goldar got the shaft on that one.Yes. IceCap
I was going to suggest that the NHL would be better off being run by an evil space witch and a gold plated monkey knight, but then I remembered that the NHL actually signed an ok television deal. It's really ruining my high. The Giant Pacific Octopus
Boy can you believe the Coyotes are 0-7 in the playoffs? No wonder that franchise has no fans.Seriously when you make the playoffs 7 times in your history and fail to win ONE measly playoff round it should tell you something. Here is their post season record.1997-Round 1 loss to Anaheim1998-Round 1 loss to Detroit1999-Round 1 loss to St.Louis2000-Round 1 loss to Colorado2001-Missed playoffs2002-Round 1 loss to San Jose2003-Missed Playoffs2004-Missed Playoffs2005-Lockout2006-Missed Playoffs2007-Missed Playoffs2008-Missed Playoffs2009-Missed Playoffs2010-Round 1 loss to Detroit2011-Round 1 loss to Detroit The Catch of the Day! RedRenesis
The futility dates back into their first stint in Winnipeg. Overall the franchise has lost 13 straight playoff series.
loogodude90
I'm no Coyotes fan, but at least they are making the playoffs at a 50% rate. I think that should earn them some respect. WIZARDS ORIOLES CAPITALS RAVENS UNITED

I think that should earn them some respect. Not when over half the league makes the playoffs. But it's still a sign of at least a decent franchise that tries. Making the playoffs half the time (i.e., being an average to above-average team half the time, more or less) shows that they've fielded somewhat competitive and competent teams on a regular basis. I'll admit that I don't follow the NHL very closely, so you might know something that I don't. WIZARDS ORIOLES CAPITALS RAVENS UNITED
Lee.
Congratulations to the Phoenix Coyotes for being in the top 53% of the league for roughly half of their existence. Welcome to DrunjFlix
CS85
Watching NHL on the Fly immediately after the loss, they cut to the interview with I believe Cleary who discussed the win as the Coyotes saluted the dozens of 'yote fans they showed weeping in the stadium. One of the guys on the broadcast tore up Phoenix fans and said something to the effect of "I don't know why Phoenix fans have any right to cry when this is the one game of the year they decided to buy tickets." Pretty harsh. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board.
