Grab the fishsticks uni off the mothership, use the fill tool to add the black, copy/paste the wordmark, then slap a name and number on the back in white in a font that you think looks cool. It looks like crap, not even taking into account the fact that black has never been anywhere to be found in the Isles' colour scheme, whether it's the current or the fishsticks era. Or people are criticizing to make him get better.... This one is better but it's lacking key elements such as arm numbers and a name. The blue is hard to see on the jersey, as that and the black are close together. It's better than the other Isles one, but it still needs some work. aci Posted April 17, 2011 Share Posted April 17, 2011 Jahgee, you are not a bad designer. I have liked a couple of your past concepts. When people say to slow down, you need to heed their advice. A good concept can take days to create. Draw something up, then look at it and ask yourself if it is something you could see a real player wearing. If you couldn't, then try to fix the issues.Your main problems seem to be rushing, not doing proper numbering (either forgetting them somewhere, wrong size, bad font choice, etc), and strange placements for logos, numbers, names-on-back and wordmarks.
