The Panthers official site is calling Jovo official. (I thought he was Detroit bound)

JOVO!! *Year Of The Rat flashbacks*

Nice. Tallon doing some work. I like it so far. I like the Theodore signing a lot. Saves money, and he and Clemmensen can split time until Markström is ready to go. Could the suffering of us Panthers fans finally be over? *fingers crossed*

Saving money? He overpays for Kopecky, Upshall, and Jovanovski. He must meet the bare minimum so he's clearly overpaying for third liners and second or third pair D-man.

He is doing some work, but it's definitely not good.

Four times IHL Nielson Cup Champions - Montréal Shamrocks (2008-2009 // 2009-2010 // 2012-2013 // 2014-2015)

Five times TNFF Confederation Cup Champions - Yellowknife Eagles (2009 CC VI // 2010 CC VII // 2015 CC XII // 2017 CC XIV // 2018 CC XV)

He probably means saving money over Vokoun. If I were Florida I'd have overpaid for Vokoun rather than Theodore and shown Vokoun they were serious about winning for once.

For the panthers it is a lot. They are a bad franchise.

Any one have an idea of why Verstedg gets moved around so much?

Cap casualty in Chicago

Toronto wanted picks

Philly is clearing space?

Also Chicago sheltered the hell out of him and it showed in his play. Toronto and Philly didn't utilize him properly and Florida will expect him to be a Top Six guy when in reality he's a bottom six guy, with some skill and can kill Powerplays.

Also Leino is not going to Toronto but across Lake Ontario to Buffalo. 6 years/27 Million. OVERPAY!

Terry Pegula is quite the owner. Regehr, Leino and possibly Richards.

I would assume that the Leino signing means no Richards.

Yeah, just checking the numbers just roughly 2.5 million left. The Leino deal isn't a very good one.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.
