DCDuck
NL - Nationals: I'm from DC and live in DC, and unlike the Redskins, they play in DC.Marlins: I loved their teal look, and I loved Livan Hernandez throwing 85 MPH fastballs all the way to a World Series win.Reds: Dat mascot. I also loved Adam Dunn hitting 430-foot jacks and never getting any love from the media. I'm still a Donkey fan regardless of where he plays, but when I think of him I will always picture him in a Reds uniform.AL -Orioles: My first baseball game was at Camden Yards when the Os played the Jays in 1994. They were the "hometown" team here before the Nats moved. When the Yankees took Mike Mussina away (I don't care if he was a FA, the Yanks "took" him away from us), I became a Yankee hater and to this day despise them.Red Sox: Only briefly, in 2004. The "reverse the curse" series was amazing. I was at school in NJ at the time, so I was surrounded by Yankees fans. I loved the Sox for making them cry.Rangers: Dat mascot. Dexter Morgan
Peter Angelos drove Mussina way, you should hate him. He's the reason even to this day, Moose has not been back to Camden to throw out a first pitch. Sad really, because he's the best pitcher the O's ever had not named Jim Palmer. Ndfreek12
I'll have to admit, I've always liked the Orioles. Just that classic bird with the hat struck me when i first got into baseball (around 2003, so they still sucked) though I'll admit to being a closet O's fan, if I even consider myself a true fan as much as a follower. Plus JIM PALMER. That is all. "My name is Ignatius Peabody Nobel from East Westerton, Missouri.and this is my friend, um, Ted"
tulo5280
Colorado Rockies. I've waited a long time for a expansion team in Denver, It's a shame my owners are cheap and don't care about winning. Cleveland Indians I've Been a fan before the Rockies came to town. Tons of heartbreak but I love the Jake (Not Insurance field ever!!) Jose Mesa still gives me Night sweats... bigbean24
For me its the Twins, because that is my hometown team and for the NL I got to go with the Brewers, because most of my family lives in Wisconsin, plus Miller Park is cool. Windstorm
The Blue Jays are definitely my favourite team since I'm originally from Ontario and some of my family used to be hardcore fans. I'd say the Marlins are my favourite NL team, but I also don't mind teams like the Rockies, D-Backs, and Reds.

I had no concept of that sort of thing back then. I only knew that Moose was my favorite player and the Yankees signed him away, and I've hated the Yankees ever since.Yep, I've been hating the Yankees since before hating the Yankees was "cool". Rockstar Matt
In the AL: I root for the Angels and I have ever since the Disney movies way back in the 90's. I was an impressionable little kid lol.NL: I root for the Dodgers and now they're my favorite team. I always liked them, but I liked the Angels more until one of my favorite players of all-time became part of a group that owns the Dodgers. Ever since that happened, I switched my loyalties to them. Also helps that one of my best friends is a huge Dodgers fan. I kinda root for the Cubs only because I pity them and I want to see them finally win a title. Dexter Morgan
Not to get side tracked, but what does everyone think of Mussina's Hall of Fame chances? He's a HOFer in my book, but I know it's close.

Sports have always evolved.I don't mind the AL and NL being a little different, but mania is right, some NL fans are so high and mighty when it comes to the DH. Kramerica Industries
I don't even mind the pitcher hitting in theory, but with the way most pitchers hit these days (as in, not at all), it really takes away from the quality of the game.Baseball is not being played at its best when there is literally a black hole in the lineup. It's not at its best when you have a bunt situation with one out already in the inning (I mean, who the hell would do that otherwise?). If the "purity" of baseball is to have nine players who play on both sides of the ball, so be it. Then get rid of the DH in the minor leagues and make the pitchers learn how to handle a bat as well. Otherwise, you're dealing with the idea of "real" baseball, known as the NL, and "good" baseball, known as the AL.I mean, there's a reason why the AL has won the vast majority of the World Series (even since 1973 - 21-17). Baseball is just better on that side. Even if purists want to argue that they don't play baseball.

Besides, in the last 11, since the Yankees completed their 3-peat in 2000, starting with 2001 the NL has won 6 of them. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
