2012-13 NBA Season Thread

Has a team ever fired two coaches in one season before? There's still time for Phil Jackson to white knight himself back in. D'Antoni was a disaster in New York and isn't doing any better in LA. For all of this, they could have just stayed with Mike Brown.

I was saying this all along. Why would you hire a guy that just got fired for sucking on another team in the first place.

Value Over Replacement Gash

I'm just gonna leave this one here, because its probably one of the greatest things I've ever read in my life.

Donald Sterling celebrated with his team in the locker room. "Hip-hip hooray," Sterling said. "Eleven in a row. Not bad, is it?"

I'm sure he meant "hip hop hooray" there, but still, it's good to see Mr. Beverly Hills joining in on the fun.

You forgot the most bizarre part:

Sterling grabbed the hand of coach Vinny Del Negro and held it up, exhorting his team, "Let's hear it for the coach." Then he told Del Negro, "Vinny, give me a hug," and the two men embraced.

Reminds me of when Stone Cold got mad at Vince for not giving him enough hugs.

It gets better:

As Jamal Crawford tied his shoes, Sterling walked up to him and said, "I love watching you shoot. When you shoot, everyone is quiet. I love it."

As Crawford shook his hand, Sterling said, "You're going to stay here forever, right? I love having you here. Thank you so much."

Jamal Crawford was my kind of athlete. Dude usually had a dozen Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts with him while coming in for morning practice....

It is still shocking as hell that teams ran by two of the worst owners in sports (James Dolan & Donald Sterling) are two of the hottest teams in the league.

Maybe the Mayans are on to something. Lol

If it weren't for Sterling, the Clips would actually be my second favorite team. However, what the Clippers are doing this season is outstanding and unprecedented for them in Los Angeles. You can say without laughing that the Clippers really are one of the best 5 teams in the league.

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

Is it possible to get play-by-play commentary for every Clippers game here?

If you don't want to read about an NBA team, maybe you should stay out of the NBA thread.

Can you let me know all the quotes by the owner after the game? I'm really excited to hear what he has to say.

And I'm just as excited to hear your expert opinion on the quality of every thread on this forum and which teams merit being talked about.

Cousins suspended again, this time for conduct detrimental to the team during last nights game. Why should I be surprised at this team being a trainwreck year after year after year..........
