Three simple words.

COLIN

F*****G

KAEPERNICK

What an incredible finish. I thought I was gonna have a heart attack on that final bootleg on third down.

I really wish Cincinnati would trade up in the Draft and pick a real Quarterback. Dalton is definitely not the future of the Bengals. The guy buckles under pressure, bad. 6 Interceptions and 2 Fumbles in his last two games. The only reason he broke the yardage record is because of his awesome Receivers.

And with that I will fade into the frosty night air, another championship safe from the grubby hands of obnoxious franchises.

Oh you'll be back in May with the Bulls and Heat. Or when it's Kings and Blackhawks.

Oh it won't take that long. He'll be back on Opening Day bemoaning the fact that the Cardinals got a base hit or something.

So many juicy plot lines for the Divisional round. Regular season rematches, the proliferation of the young quarterbacks (Kaep, Newton, Luck, Wilson), the two most dominant QB's of this generation trying to hold the guard (Brady and Manning), and Brees and Rivers trying to continue a doable road streak to NYC and the Super Bowl.

What a Divisional round we're all in store for.

The Broncos, Colts, Pats, and 49ers are still in it.

One of those is not like the other...

Broncos- Payton Manning.

Colts- Sustained success. Let's see someone else succeed for a while. Also the ability to fall ass backwards into great quarterbacks in the draft.

Patriots- Sustained success. Let's see someone else succeed for a while. Also, evil.

49ers- Colin f'ing Kaepernick. Everyone spewed bs about NFL quarterbacks not losing their jobs to injury when Cutler came back. Alex Smith says otherwise. He plays well and does the responsible thing by choosing not to play with a concussion. What does that get him? He looses his job.

All obnoxious franchises in my book.

I'd like to know when the Broncos franchise became obnoxious.

With 5:28 left in the 1986 AFC Championship Game - it's entirely possible I may be a bit biased. B)

Well, obviously this is all subjective, and I didn't exactly hide my disdain for the Colts last night, at all really (although now I have no choice but to root for them next Saturday night, jeez), but I still would say the Patriots are far unlike the rest of them. At least the other three teams don't come from cities with an air of smugness that has engulfed them in the past 15 years.

Forgive me if this has been pointed out but if not for KC's rather epic meltdown, road teams would have swept Wild Card Weekend.

@ Kramerica, I hope it's Saints @ Panthers for the NFC title. One of them would have to go to the SB. :P

Well my short answer's above. I recommend you not take criticism of the Broncos personally. It'll make the yearly Manning playoff choke job easier to handle :upside:

Though if you want more specifics...

I actually like John Elway the football player. His skills place him among the game's best and his career had a storybook ending you can't help but smile at. Thing is I get douche chills regarding John Elway the football exec. He's my go-to example of the NFL's self gratifying "good ole' boy" culture. His signing of Peyton Manning only furthers that perception in my opinion.

Also the Broncos are divisional rivals to the Chargers. Since, at the end of the day, that's really all I need to justify my dislike of that organization to you ;)

Yeah because it has nothing to do with the fact that Colin Kaepernick fits the 49ers system better than Alex Smith did and Jim Harbaugh could see that from MILES away.

Really, the concussion was kinda perfect timing for the 49ers, because I really do feel that Jim Harbaugh was looking for ANY excuse he could find to bench Alex Smith in favor of Kaepernick. There wouldn't have been all the drama the off season prior with Peyton Manning if Jim Harbaugh really had any confidence in Alex Smith. Which was completely justifiable. Sure he had a handful of nice games in 2011, but he was flat out AWFUL FOR SIX FULL SEASONS prior to that.

That was a really weak argument at the time, and it's mind blowing that it still persists to this day despite the fact that Colin Kaepernick did in ten games what Alex Smith never could.

Oh well, Kaep keeps playing on while Alex Smith sits at home another year.

Unjustified smugness, too. I cannot stand the majority of the Patriot fans. Also, the team hasn't won a superbowl in 9 years, yet the Patriots are held to a higher standard than that of any other NFL franchise. When is Brady gonna retire and when will Belichick leave?
