WTF is up with this World Cup?

Can Ghana just go away. I do not want the US to not win against Portugal and then play a pissed off Germany that will probably knock us out.

Realistically, a tie would be the best result for the US. Possible scenario if the tie holds and Portugal loses:

US- 6 points

Germany- 4 points

Ghana- 1 point

Portugal- 0 points

A win would have been better. Ghana's dead and Germany doesn't need to do anything in their game against us.

That said, could Germany please get it together now?

Yeah Ghana winning this is just about the worst possible result.

Long hard European season obviously telling for most of the UEFA teams, only the French have put two top performances together so far

Not sure why everyone's acting as if an American win is automatic. This is US Men's Soccer, not Basketball we're talkin' about.

I would say that the USA wont beat Portugal but the way some results have been going I am not so sure now.
