What happened to the Raiders getting Desean Jackson? Seemed like that was the obvious fit but now it looks like he will end up with the Skins.

Jackson with Oakland= Helps Oakland/Helps his Career/Helps Matt Shaub

Jackson with Redskins= Another disaster in DC

A combination of the Raiders being worried about reuniting him with his gang ties and the Redskins offering him a completely idiotic contract.

DeSean Jackson is meeting with the Redskins Monday and they are the ftont runner to land him. I like this. Revenge and fits with the scheme.

Washington has a scheme?

he fits with their offense... Garçon on one side and Jackson on the other sounds pretty damn good.

It might sound good, but the Redskins need an offensive line that can actually block and a starting QB that can make a timely and accurate throw. If those things don't happen, it doesn't matter if Garcon is one one side and Jackson is on the other.

The Redskins didn't really have a scheme in 2013. The offense sucked ass. Hopefully Gruden fixes everything.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

Speaking of monkeys throwing :censored: at walls and calling it a scheme...

Looks like Jackson to the Redskins is closer to being a done deal

Jackson is now a 'skin!

A good example of why that's a stupid name for the team.

the team name has nothing to do with the signing

Nowhere did I say it did.

He didn't have anything to say about the signing though, just that redskins is a stupid name. Which opens another can of worms

Desean Jackson is going to wear a single number jersey in the preseason before switching numbers. Probably going with 1 or 4.

http://blog.redskins.com/2014/04/02/desean-jackson-on-picking-a-number/

Wait - I thought receivers were limited to 11-19/80-89? What the hell is this new, horrifying single-digit crap?

In preseason there arent enough numbers to go around so if a player cant wear an approved number they can wear other numbers for pre season only

Some guy for the Giants played receiver wearing #3 in preseason before switching, unless he can get the league to let him wear #1 or #4 for regular season, he'll be switching.
