For me, the Orioles MUST have an orange bill for any primary cap, but I would take this all black alt in a heartbeat over the stupid "O's" cap.. I think it would look good as an occasional road alt with the grey's or even the orange.. They could even (VERY rarely) use it for a "black out" themed uniform.. But I would never want to see it reach any level of primary rotation status.. The white panel home and black crown road, each with orange brims, are all the birds really need..

eh, some history with it  from 1989-2007 with the realistic bird, and earlier as well.

Though, it should stay a weekly thing at most, say thursday road games of something similar

I do like the O's Orioles cap, I do, but the best looks for that black jersey is the jersey with the home helmet and white pants

The O's cap is just too cutesy for me.. I also feel like they're stepping on the A's toes a bit with it.. And I do realize they've done the all black cap before (even somewhat recently), but a total of 15 seasons as the primary home cap, spread out over 65 years, isn't a strong history (not to mention some of the franchise's worst years).. As I said, I don't mind it (and I like it WAY more than their current alt), but it should never achieve higher status than "alt".. My preferred lineup of caps would be:

Primary Home: black crown, white panel, orange brim, cartoon bird

Primary Road: black crown, orange brim, cartoon bird

Alt: black crown, black brim, cartoon bird

2nd alt (if they must): black crown, orange brim, "B" logo based off of Road wordmark

Here's a pretty good look at the league logo

But perhaps sticking  that old white sox logo on the entrance to U.S. Cellular Field , is not such a bad idea afterall,  it will give the spectators an idea of what the hell they are supposed to be seeing on the field.

What's goin' on, Bucfan56? That's not a bad look at all. Overall, this ST line is a step in the right direction. Also, I think it'd be cool for teams to represent their league in the World Series (WS patch on the right, traditional League patch on the left...or maybe the newer one in the team's colors).

I'm not a huge fan of the WS patches anyway.. I'd actually be more in support of the league patch for the WS, to show which league each team is representing in the WS.. But the patch is redundant.. I know what game it is, that's why I tuned in.. It's especially overkill to have it on both jersey and hat as well

The Tigers never wear spring training/BP jerseys during Spring Training games, so I can't see them wearing the ones posted (for BP only maybe).  They wear their regular home and road uniforms for all games.  They do, however, wear the BP hats during spring training.

I'm a huge Marlins fan... how does anyone like that thing?

Since their rebrand Marlins have always used the same shade of red-orange... this cap actually adds two new shades of orange to their colors. Whether you are a fan of their newest look or not, we should all agree that the last thing the Marlins need is more colors in their scheme.

This new logo also flattens out the 3D effect that the multi-colored logo was supposed to have, Again, like the Marlins latest logos or not, I don't see how anyone can find this an upgrade to their look.

And again, it also kills me that their ST cap logo will now be completely different than the M logos on their jerseys. That's horrible design right there.

You can't see all that clearly from this angle, but this is crap. The tramp stamp logo is just dumb, but the side panels are inexcusable. MLB has been whoring itself with these garbage stars and stripes/camo caps for a few years now, then even matching jerseys the last two years. But for some reason I thought MLB was smarter than to fall for the crap the NFL fell for about uniform technology and the teams' design taking a back seat to the supposed function. Clearly I was wrong.

How hard do they think it would be to just print the pinstripes onto the mesh?  How lazy are you Majestic?  Come on!
