  1. Aaaaaaand there goes any interest I had in the league. Stay away from scams, folks!
  2. My bad haha, was distracted and forgot he only played in two, didn't win two. My point still stands.
  3. Russ is 33 years old and played in two Super Bowls with Seattle. The Seahawks are his right uniform.
  4. Idk I feel like the process can be summed up pretty well by "lose for several years and hope we get good because of it"
  5. That purple Statement has to be Charlotte... right?
  6. These last three races have been some of the most exciting in recent years. Obviously they still need to figure out tire issues, but other than that the Gen 7s are nothing but success in my opinion. They are tough to drive and that makes for better racing. Loving this season so far.
  7. The team didn't live up to the moment but the city sure did. We earned our team.
  8. Love the Hornets-inspired set for the Panthers. Nice work!
  9. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-approves-alternate-helmets-beginning-in-2022 From this article: So any alt.
  10. I'm pretty sure the second helmet can be used with the alternate jersey, throwback or not.
  11. It appears to me like they're using the team's primary logo for that season, so they have the correct Kansas City and Baltimore logo.
  12. And Charlotte experiences its first awful reffing moment. DCU gets away with a hook before what I think was a handball gives DC a goal. Unreal. Refs don't even look at the video review.
  13. [Team name] II names should be illegal.
  14. Never liked Jazz jerseys with just the J-note and the number (basketball jerseys need a wordmark, 100% of the time) but I can't believe that highlighter yellow is going to be the "dark" jerseys. Looks awful. Single-layer everything too, I'm really worried about the color balance for these.
  15. I assume it's because of the famous cherry blossoms in DC.
  16. Keep in mind that teams are due for new Statement jerseys so we'll see more than just the City jerseys leaked. Speaking of Statement jerseys, maybe this will be the year the Hornets finally drop the CHA jersey for a purple pinstriped set.
  17. What on Earth are the Warriors doing. That looks absolutely awful. Miami's serial killer staying around sucks, Lakers with black sucks, the Lakers and Warriors classics at least look good. Not looking forward to whatever the Hornets end up doing. I'm predicting a graphite Minted jersey.
  18. If Houston didn't have side panels and there was some more red on the home pants I'd be down for it but I think they're missing that. They're the worst of the 5 so far, but still a solid enough set. Could be far, far worse.
  19. I'm a fan of CLTFC's change kit, not really liking the optical illusion of the darker green (mint and dark green has never worked for me) but I'm glad to see mint in the team's first set of kits. Blue should always be the primary color, I, and probably many others, associate it far more with Charlotte than mint (that really only cropped up like two years ago, before that, the whole Mint City thing was, well, not a thing) but I'm glad to see it nonetheless. Probably won't get the jersey, but I'll try and grab a mint-colored t-shirt for merch purposes.
  20. Don't like keeping the silver for the Panthers, really don't like not having white pants. White over white has been our road combo since we started so getting rid of it is a miss for me. The logo update is really, really nice. I'd like to see silver eliminated completely from the color scheme, and especially see white numbers on the black and blue jerseys. A helmet stripe would be really nice as well. Black socks are also superfluous here, blue is the only pair we need. I go back and forth on the number font - I don't like changing the block, but this one fits well enough I feel. I just think the scheme isn't vibrant enough with all the dull silver. More white would be greatly appreciated.
  21. You posted a clearly unpopular opinion then acted like everyone else was wrong for not agreeing with you. Knowing that your opinion is in the minority and owning it is accepting that it's in the minority and not the "objectively correct" opinion. For example: I love these jerseys and especially pants. Don't know why, most people hate them, but they've always worked for me. I expressed an unpopular opinion that I hold, explained why, and acknowledged that I was in the minority. Give it a try, it's nice.
  22. Any answer other than Manfred is simply wrong. The others range from bland but decent (Silver) to incompetent (Goodell and Bettman) but Manfred is actively killing baseball and is reveling in it.
  23. No, both of those suck. Neither of those teams should have black in their color schemes.
