    Since it's the W inside the crest that looks like a signet ring, how often do we expect this to show up anywhere outside of football, hockey or field hockey? It's a nice gesture and maybe it starts a conversation.

    I think this works better than the original. Look at Dynamo Dresden if you want inspiration for how to enclose the B instead of leaving it in the open.

    I'd take the B with the wave and blow it up and remove everything else. The wave would stand out more with added colors.

    Boston's badge is too plain. It needs a wave or something Boston specific to it.

    I'd expect we could see them turn into a version of Reebok, where they maybe sponsor competitions here and thee and maybe drop out of team sports altogether, save for Maryland collegiate teams.

    When I saw the first logo I thought it was for the Doug Flutie football game.

    I remember the Pepsi commercials at movie theaters with the little girl and Jack Palance's voice when they were all required to ban smoking. I showed the video to my kid and she refuses to believe we ever smoke indoors.

    They could go with Lumber Janes, but that might run afowl of this: - . . . And it also sounds like they're patronizing as well. Or just be smart and not drop the Lumber from between the other two words.

    Texas even made logos for all of their incoming players last year. Partially tongue in cheek but I wonder with NIL if we could see that happening at all of the Power 5 schools.

    With Under Armour facing numerous issues of late they could make the jump, but the lack of an actual Jumpman logo next to a Gamecocks logo could signify it's just the football team trying a new way to hype up the team for this fall.

    That's what I was thinking too! Va. Tech is a little slimmer, or taller, but they do share similarities. I think that's why Nike made the Virgina lettering a little wider.
