The Blue-only looks like the logo for an e-cigarette brand. The name, logo, etc. . . . ALL just horrendously stupid.

One of THE WORST rebrands in sports history. They "blue" it.

And as someone already mentioned, why not keep the 66ers name? OKC is on Route 66, so it would've made sense to keep it.

The logo and team name look like they are straight out of an unlicensed Basketball video game.

"OKC Blue vs. San Antonio Black" or something like that. Like Pro Evolution Soccers unlicensed teams.

To defend dropping the 66ers, you could argue that there's a little bit of brand confusion in having a team with a nickname similar to "76ers" that isn't affiliated with them while there is another nickname similar to "76ers" for a team that is. Still, nothing will ever excuse "Oklahoma City Blue" or their logo.
