Hopefully he would be a funnier alter ego of Jonah Hill.

This whole Bill Simmons vs. Mike & Mike/ESPN thing will reach a head soon. Simmons to SI will happen inside of a month, no doubt.

Did people actually think Cleveland was going to come out guns hot right at the start of the season? 4 games is nothing in an NBA season, simmer down already.

Warriors up big on the Clippers at Oralce with 4:28 remaining in the third period. Steve Kerr just got his first Technical as head coach (from Joey Crawford). Kerr was arguing that CP3 was carrying the ball. Kerr might have a point, but doesn't everyone in the league carry the ball a little?

I hope this won't be a problem with the Clips the rest of the year. They got absolutely torched by the 3 last night. I'm not sure if it's their defense, or if the Warriors were just that hot.

Since Time Warner spun off the magazines to firm Time, Inc., the magazines are still dying but less slow due to slightly increased digital revenue. Turner (B/R and NBA digital) would be his play, especially if Barkley keeps hinting his retirement. Barkley stays on thru next season to allow for a possible Simmons noncompete clause to finish during the impending strike/lockout year.

However, since Simmons is under Dixon management, he could partner with some of his friends and Dixon fellow clients (Kimmel, Carolla, Colbert, Stewart) and go it alone.

I wonder how that would work with Grantland and 30 for 30. They're the two best things ESPN does, and they're closely affiliated with Bill Simmons.

Mike & Mike are fine for what they are, but there's never been a single memorable thing either of those two have ever done. It's been 15 years of just-on-the-right-side-of-homophobia and too much sponsorship. Those guys are almost the word, but saved by a world where Colin Cowherd exists.

Can there be a Knicks-Nets game that isn't a complete blowout by either team?

There have only been 3 Knicks-Nets games that have been decided by less than double digits since the Nets moved to Brooklyn.

So Dion Waiters skips the national anthem for the same reasons that Mr. Abdul-Raouf did twenty years ago...

I say he should be suspended until he agrees to join in. The First Amendment begins with "Congress shall make no law..." Since the NBA is not a congressional body or a government organization, it is perfectly legal for them to suspend him.

What's so religious about listening to a national anthem being performed? He doesn't have a problem taking American money, I bet. Or taking playing orders from a Jewish coach.

No other Muslim players in the league have an issue with the anthem, Dion. Dion was around for last night's anthem...was it suddenly religiously alright? These kids today are pretty dumb.
