I just love this. Seeing that scumbag fail is filling me with so much joy. The only thing that would make this better is if he got injured.

That's mature. He's still a great quarterback. Mariota was the best QB this year, but Winston makes passes that no one else in college football makes. And I'm sorry, but I'm sure 75% of college football players have done stupid :censored: equally as bad or worse than Jameis. It's just public because of who he is.

Well, it's about time. I didn't expect this kind of margin, but Florida State couldn't get away with the mistakes they've made all year. Oregon takes mistakes and makes you pay, quickly.

Oregon is the real deal, folks.

Three things I know:

This game was practically even until the turnover avalanche, Oregon just capitalized of them. Oregon was still the better team, but up to the 3rd quarter, it was closer than people believed.

FSU had one of the greatest 3 or so year runs we've ever seen, dominating and squeaking out wins. This one game should not discredit what they've done.

Clemson and GT are poised for a conference championship run. It all depends how FSU handles this loss. They can either get better from it, or be paralyzed.

Now Oregon, please beat whoever you play.

He's not a scumbag. He's a young kid who's made some bad choices. No one sits there and leads off of Sportscenter with all the good things Winston has done, so until you've seen all the good that he's done, and you allow the world to see all the stupid, immature things that you've done; then and only then can you begin to think about calling someone a "scumbag" when you don't know all the facts.

But they weren't that good this year. They really weren't. Sure, the record was pretty, but against a top tier football team that's played in and won big games, they didn't belong on the same field.

FSU fan & I don't feel that burned out... the entire season was a grind & the undefeated streak wasn't even extra pressure. I can't think of another team ever riding such a streak who were so meh about it lols.

Admittedly they wanted to hold on to their streak just to get into the final four as being undefeated they still kept falling in the rankings which is hilarious to me.

Oregon capitalized on everything, plain & simple. The only hope I had was to keep seeing the clock & how much damn time was left seemingly entire game because Oregon would play/score so quickly.

Winston looked poised & should be a very good NFL QB in 2016, he'll need/want to polish things up a bit before his bad team is ready.

To me Winston has Steve Young's determined poise & Roethlisberger's body. My fav Jameis moment this year was v Boston College- down early, BC started chirping right in his grill... Winston looked right though guys for the next play call from the bench as if he were playing a video game at home. He really doesn't care what you say or think about him, he just plays. That'll make him one of the more poised QB's in the entire NFL within 2-3yrs guaranteed.

Mariota reminds me of Andrew Luck. Shame we'll only see Bucs-Colts once every 4yrs.

Oregon was an absolute juggernaut today. With that being said FSU could've still won this game. It was 18-16 at half, then the ball carriers for FSU activated butter fingers mode in the 3rd. I was glad to see Winston not lose his head when his receivers couldn't catch a cold, and kept trying to keep them motivated. At the end of it all, you can't turnover the ball that much against a team that offensively potent. Congrats Oregon, I hope yall win it all.

It was sad to see most of FSU walk off the field at the end of the game. That's why, despite his mistakes, I like Winston. He took it on the chin and walked to the middle of the field to congratulate the Ducks, while most of his team couldn't be bothered.

Also, FSU fans can't make fun of Florida for blocking eachother anymore. So that's good.

edit: As far as Winston keeping a cool head, there was some sort of confrontation between him and Jimbo Fisher at the end of the third where Jimbo Fisher said "If you don't calm the f*** down, you're going to the bench." So I'm not sure he kept such a cool head.

Speaking of undefeated regular season records, it would have been worse for them to collapse like that in the Nationals.

If there's one thing you shouldn't feel too burned out about...

Yeah I saw that, but I can't figure out where he was losing it. Cameras didn't catch that I guess.

I'd like to see the numbers for college players who allegedly commit sexual assault and get away with it because the city's PD doesn't want to hurt the football team.

I know the numbers will be higher than average but 75% is absurd. Most don't go as far as he did.

Yawn. Who honestly didn't see this game as an Alabama blowout? I Wanna say that TCU would've been a better choice than OSU, but I doubt it. Oregon Bama is gonna be one helluva national title game.

Or it's gonna be another Bama blowout.

That's the championship game I've been waiting for for the last 4 years. Except I hope OSU wins :P

Well, Saban won't have a month to prepare and Alabama isn't always great against up-tempo offenses (and as you know, Oregon is the up-tempo offense) so I think Oregon stands a pretty good chance actually.

I was pretty certain coming into this game Alabama would roll 'em, but I'm hoping Ohio State makes a game of it since so many of these bowl games have been so uncompetitive. At the same time, though, I'm an SEC guy and Alabama can save some face for the conference.

That's the one thing I was thinking too. Usually, Nick Saban has over a month to prepare for a team, and ain't nobody beating a Nick Saban team with that much time to prepare. But having just over a week may be in Oregon's benefit considering just how uptempo they are. That's the one thing I like most about this new playoff system. You don't see teams who are rusty due to having what feels like half a year off before the game, and the true innovators like Nick Saban don't have time to prepare a gameplan to absolutely kill hapless teams who shouldn't even be there like Notre Dame.

Since when did an 8 point lead qualify as a blowout? Clearly, you're watching a different game than I am.

EDIT: Well, that's that I guess. No way the Buckeyes can come back after being down 1 at halftime.
