2015 Fantasy Football Thread

I'm about a month away from my draft so I thought I'd start this thread. Due to having such a terrible team last year, I have the first pick in this year's draft. I'm leaning towards Rodgers right now. I have seen a lot of rankings putting RBs at the top spot. I can't imagine drafting Eddie Lacy, LeVeon Bell, or even Adrian Peterson (some actually have him 1st overall and he hasn't played football in a year). What are your thoughts?

I was thinking about demarco Murray? I know his production will go down being on the eagles a bit, but is he with drafting early still?

Define "early." Is he worth a top 5 pick? No. But he's a borderline first rounder. I'd probably rather take a top WR than him, but if he's still around in the middle of round 2 and I'm choosing between him and, say, Alshon Jeffery or AJ Green, I'm probably taking DeMarco, especially if I don't have a RB1 yet. He's in that LeSean McCoy/Jeremy Hill tier that's not quite elite, but you'll feel way better about than the next group of RBs.

Here's my Yahoo roster that no one will ever care about including probably me by December... :bonk:

Tannehill

Carr

Hyde

McCoy

Martin

Freeman

Maclin

Floyd

Cooper

Crabtree

Graham

Rivera

Gostkowski

Seattle D

It feels decent enough. I like my potential separation at TE, K, D, & Hyde-McCoy touches. 10 team league, pretty much everyone has depth going on.

Honestly, you may like your separation at TE, but I don't think the rest of your lineup makes up for it. For a 10-team league, your QB1 is a borderline starter at best (though he does have some upside), your RBs are just okay (Shady's a low-end #1, but Hyde is far from a sure thing and Martin's done) and your WRs are especially weak. I'd be fine with Maclin as a WR3, but as a 1? And I love Amari Cooper, but when he's probably your best WR, that's not a great thing.

My suggestion would be to try and trade Graham for a WR and get back a mid-tier TE in return as well. I think you probably left a better team on the draft board.
