I really dislike two word nicknames that use the adjective/noun pattern for no reason. Many are permissible, especially when the adjective is a color, like the Red Wings, Blue Devils, White Sox, etc. Or when it is actually describing something that physically exists (North Stars, Horned Frogs). But those that use a verb turned adjective to describe the noun (i.e. fighting, flying, chasers, strikers, etc.) sound amateurish to me. EDIT: BattleHawks? Eh, not the worst. I can live with it. AHcreative
L.A. Wildcats? Wow, what a boring, conservative logo and name for a Los Angeles-based team.
kmccarthy27
They are not as terrible as people thought it was going to be, I think DC got the short end of the stick of it all.
