panthers_2012
Frontier League announced their schedule today. Notably missing is the Traverse City Beach Bums and the Normal Cornbelters. The Beach Bums, along with their stadium, were sold to a group led by the Midwest League West Michigan Whitecaps and will play, under a new team name, in the Northwoods League next season. Here's the statement from the Beach Bums: https://traversecitybeachbums.com According to this article, the Cornbelters might be moving to the collegiate league level, but no official statement yet from the Cornbelters organization. https://ballparkdigest.com/2018/09/27/normal-cornbelters-no-decision-on-2019-league/ I'm very upset that the Cornbelters are leaving the FL. They were my second favorite team in the league. Edited October 15, 2018 by panthers_2012 Accidentally labeled Whitecaps as a member of Northwoods League

If this was Brandiose, we all know it would be the Fightin' Cherries.

If I were the new owners, I would keep the Beach Bums name, but get new logos.

Or Cherry Pickers! haha A cherry name could lead to an interesting reddish black color. *dreams* 1 Quote Last updated 5/

My parents and my brother all live in Traverse City...something with cherries is appropriate, along with anything related to lakes. (Lots of water and boats there.) Green27
Never heard of this; an MILB team that hasn't released its identity is having to deal with fake merch sites. Lazy Trash Pandas gear being sold online. https://whnt.com/2018/10/21/rocket-city-trash-pandas-counterfeit-merchandise-popping-up-online/

Not even close to being legit.

buzzcut
Interesting news coming out of Nashville. Sounds talking about a "remaster" of their branding. 1 Quote The CCSLC's resident Geelong Cats fan. Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends. Dilbert
Or at the very least the current logo in a roundel like the Rangers. Nashville already has a solid brand 1 Quote Signature intentionally left blank
TBGKon
I hope the Sounds aren’t doing too much...they just rebranded a couple of years ago. It’s not like they used A’s colors before and they want to change.
MilSox
A recoloring of the logos would make sense. They wore colors very similar to the Rangers throughout the 80s and 90s. Let's hope this "remaster" doesn't meant much more than that.
