Old School Fool Posted August 12, 2023 Share Posted August 12, 2023 I really like the Cardinals helmet. Somehow they made the helmet stand out in a way that's vibrant and not obnoxious. They safely modernized what seemed untouchable, similar to the Cleveland Browns. I really hope they get away from the blood-clot look once the season starts. Sounds like Michael Bidwill insisted on some changes - stripes on the White and Black pants, and the Black trim on the White jersey numerals. Just an awful redesign. The Cardinals were ready for a change by 2005, but remember, even by 2004, they were already doing monochrome red and had dropped black as a secondary color in favor of a few threads of navy blue, so of course they looked worse. They missed the boat not just going back to looking like a practically ancient football team.
