I really like the Cardinals helmet. Somehow they made the helmet stand out in a way that's vibrant and not obnoxious. They safely modernized what seemed untouchable, similar to the Cleveland Browns. The silver flakes make it look like a pearlized white which is pretty cool.

Oh, if they wear red jerseys and white pants, they’ll definitely wear it with white socks.  There’s no chance of anything else.

It’ll still be better than this used tampon look.

I think real soon they’ll realized White/Red/White looks great and they’ll go that way the majority of the time.  Red socks would obviously look better but if it means they wear White socks, I’ll take it.

I’m anxious now to see them live in all-White and all-Black.  Those are going to be their best looks.

Any way you cut it, these are better than the retired Reebok piping set.

I’m fully prepared for the Cardinals to piss everyone off by wearing the red jersey/pants combo all year without deviating.

The.  Pants.  NEED.  Stripes.

This is also why players should have ZERO input on what a new uniform looks like too.

I'm fairly certain the stripe-less pants and monochrome uni sets were Nike's idea. Sounds like Michael Bidwill insisted on some changes - stripes on the White and Black pants, and the Black trim on the White jersey numerals. (Original design had Red numbers trimmed in Silver.)

As great as that helmet decal looks, it now clashes with the flat material of the jerseys/pants and the color doesn't match unless the light hits it juuuuuuust right.

Just an awful redesign.  It's better by default, but it could have been so much more.

That dude for whatever reasons loves all-white uniforms and even calls them "icy white" which contradicts a lot of his good taste.

I think most/all will nfl teams will have a 🤬 white helmet in the mix in the next few years, like cfb schools.  "All white = tight" 🙄

Takeaways from the Arizona Cardinals' preseason win over the Denver Broncos

Plain red pants with plain red performance skirts are an especially ugly combination. Can't put a finger on it.

I've got a dribbble, check it out if you like my stuff; alternatively, if you hate my stuff, send it to your enemies to punish their insolence!

I’m half convinced Nike is behind the popularity of the plain white socks too. Now they only have to dye some of them rather than all.

The nfl might as well get it over with now and each team is all white head to toe, all black head to toe, and their alternate is their team color head to toe. I mean that seems to be where it goes for every successful bucs/browns you get a commanders/cardinals and other teams long for it (lions, jets, falcons, panthers etc)

As time has gone by, I've developed an appreciation for the Big Red uniforms that I never used to have.

St Louis Cardinals Football 1969 | Literacy Ontario Central South

The Cardinals were ready for a change by 2005, but remember, even by 2004, they were already doing monochrome red and had dropped black as a secondary color in favor of a few threads of navy blue, so of course they looked worse. They missed the boat not just going back to looking like a practically ancient football team. They should have done so at the same time that the Bills rolled it back.
