I've been told this color palette is old and they've added more colors since.

I got early access to the 2024 style guide, and here's their silver and black (for sleeve stripes only - still no black uniform):

And then for pants and merchandise:

The numbers remain unchanged.

The Navy helmets are gross. They are so dark they almost look black and they don't match any other part of the color rush or the throwback uniform.

More like the Giants should order a gross of them and make them their primary helmets

AHH

It’s Jacksonville’s classic combo. If you ask me, black is the only sock color they need. They should do black helmets and black socks at all times, with teal, white, or black jerseys, and teal or white pants. Anything more is overkill.

Would be nice if the Chiefs used matching stripes.

Chiefs Fall to Colts, 19-13, on Sunday Night Football

This is the same striping pattern the team has worn during its entire existence.  There is no reason to change them.

PS.  I’ve come to really dislike the Red on Red.  It was cool…once.  Don’t like it now.  If they’re going to do it, they need to wear their White socks.

This is 1000% their best combo.

The stripe combo doesn't match because a red monochrome combo was never meant to exist. The uniform was never designed with this in mind.

Wow Jets. Watch the Eagles wear green pants and we get tons of green between two teams that hate green.

My uninformed wager would be Eagles in black pants.  I really hope I'm wrong.

EDIT: for betting folks, may want to take the Jets this week due to the number of Eagles who are out (mostly defense.)

That's true.  I've been watching the CHIEFS since the AFL days and other than moving their TV numbers on the jerseys from the sleeves to the shoulders, downsizing the KC decal on the helmet and going from a gray to a white face-mask when Arrowhead was opened  they never changed the look of their socks.from my memory.

When wearing white pants they'd have on red socks at the top with stripes, and with the red pants they'd have white striped socks.  I also used to like their bigger logo they once wore on  their helmets, only to somehow  downsize it in 1974.  Dunno why they felt to do that since they wear no helmet stripe.

Checked the tweet where they announced this and Eagles fans are ridiculously hyped about this... thank goodness fans and players don't unilaterally decide on uniform combos.

Yeah I don't get it.  It's not the worst look in the league - by far - but it's bad, and there's no reason for it other than the players like it and convinced the owner to allow it.  To a man (the women don't seem to even notice, let alone care) my friends (the ones that do notice) always ask about the green pants whenever they wear black (which I think has only been 2... maybe 3 times.)
