The might be an unpopular opinion but out of all of the BFBS uniforms the cards pulls theirs off the best. Its a nice alternate for one to two games a season.

And I agree with all of this as well, although I think I would like the Red jersey to be a mirror-in-style of the White jerseys (posted before, but here it is again):

I'm also cool with the black alts a couple of times a year. 

That said, I don't need stripes on the red jersey! I just want the bird head logo on the sleeve.

I like the concept of the red jersey/pants having no stripes but the white jersey/pants having the silvered striping. The Cardinals have never had striping on their red jerseys (apart from the most recent set). I think rather than the big wordmark, if you rolled with the logo, that would be a good way for it not to be completely plain. Same goes for the pants. Put the logo on the hip, wear them on the road with white socks and you've got another crack jack set.

Agree, have been saying this since the beginning. 
 

I liked the Black set when unveiled, but when I saw the game action last week, remembered why it doesn’t work in real life: the number colors.  
 

Red numbers with a White or Silver outline on Black jerseys are hard to read.  The last high school team I coached had these, so I know from experience.   (We fixed this on new uniforms by going to a double outline that added Black between the Red & White and it made a huge difference.)

 

Not only are they harder to read, but the Cardinals numbers just seem smaller on the front, similar to the Lions.  I hate it.

 

I think they should’ve matched their numbers to their stripes on this set:  Silver fill, Red outline.  It would’ve contrasted beautifully with the Red NOBs.

 

 

Can anyone Photoshop the pic below, swapping the Red & Silver on the numbers?

It's not their best look. It isn't worth wearing over either other uniform option, or better still, the options above.

If the Chiefs want to wear this look once a year, I'm behind them having a second set of pants to break out for this look that matches the jersey. It's actually kind of genius that the red pants stripes match the white jersey stripes, but it doesn't work for the blood clot look

It was already mentioned that the Giants will be wearing their Color Rush throwbacks against the Bills, but I didn’t see anyone mention that they’ll actually be going with the proper throwback navy shells:

 

Last year they still wore the royal helmets with the CR uni despite having the throwback navy lids in the rotation:

 

Now if they could just wear blue socks…

The Navy helmets are gross. They are so dark they almost look black and they don't match any other part of the color rush or the throwback uniform.

What sucks with all this monochrome is that eventually every NFL game will look like this:

I think a lot of throwback uniforms that debuted as part of Color Rush are in this weird place where some people see them primarily as a throwback and some see them more as a regular alternate. This Giants set falls into the first category for me, despite the Giants not having a navy shell to wear with it for the first couple years.

 

So even though it's not an aesthetic improvement, I feel like navy is the right choice here.
