well yes, gb and minnisota are not good. however they play each other, so the awful-ness cancelles out. the vikings got in despite the fact that they lost their last game. i think they are motivated enough to at least beat gb to prove that they belong in the playoffs. as for seattle, well they blew a sure win at home to the rams, and i think they will be determend to make sure that dosnt happen again. however i think the seahwks are done after there one win. as for the vikings and eagles? well i cant see the eagles winning this season without TO. after they get by teh eagles however, they fall to the only remaning superpower in teh nfc- the falcons.

remember that the Eagles have 8 other Pro Bowlers not named TO.

Yea, and wheres the Eagles offense on the Pro Bowl list?

McNabb and Tra Thomas. We still have a better offense than ATL. (who I think will play Philly in the NFCCG).

2 Players. Woo. Big Deal. No TO, you guys are gone in the NFC Championship game.

Who do you think will beat us? Atlanta doesnt have better WRs than us either...

Are you a Giants fan?

No, I'm not a Giants fan.

Face the facts, the Falcons are a better team if you guys don't have Owens. It would eb a close game, but Falcons would, and will, win.

Falcons arent a better team than us without Owens. We still have a better offense, defense, and special teams. The hate is clouding your judgement.

If I was a homer I would be thinking that the Eagles will blow everyone out and win the SB. I think they'll get to the SB and lose.

Here's my bracket.

7efc1b19.gif

Here' my reasoning.

For Indy they have that great offense and a defense that has played well at the end of the season. For Green Bay, process of elimination. Atlanta won't get to the Super Bowl because they don't have a quaterback. They have a RB that plays QB but they don't have a QB that can throw the ball. In order to win in the playoffs you need to be able to have a qb to make the big play in the air. Running around won't work in the playoffs. Eagles won't get to the Super Bowl without Owens. McNabb isn;t a big game qb and he doesn't have reiever who won't shy away from the ball. Green Bay had a bad game that week against the Eagles, and now Philly is a different team now. Philly could get upset in the second round, but I think they will lose in the championship game to GB.

As for the Super Bowl, no NFC team has a shot against any AFC team. I think INdy will come out of the AFC and will in a blowout.

Well I'm surprised someone else filled the bracket out the same as I did. But you nailed it exactly. Indy will be the Champs.

Here is my Yearly submission using the now defunct "Fox Balls".

That's really good. I'm doing a local pool. Do you mind if I use your bracket? Its that best one I could find.

While everything says that Indy will crush Denver, and on paper there's no way the Broncos match up... the game is going to be played on turf, and for some reason I think that one of the Broncos' all-too-few stars will step up and make it a close game. Maybe Droughns, maybe Bailey, or (in what would be the shock of the century) Plummer.

Disclaimer: The fact that I'm a Broncos fan has not played into this at all. Well... okay, it's the only reason I wrote this. Broncos Super Bowl Run '04-'05!

Thank you,

Why is EVERYONE saying Denver doesn't have a shot in hell?

Plummer just tied Elway's record for most the Broncos TD passes, and broke Elway's passing yard single season record. Plummer plays well on turf, and as long as he playes like he's capable of the Denver has a great chance. Bell & Droughns will tear up Indy's defense. Lelie can beat any corner in the league and Smith comes up big when Denver needs it most.

Last year they lost because of their secondary, which is the only positions which Denver has pro-bowlers, Lynch and Bailey. Their linebackers are faster than last year, They have depth on the line.

The ONLY thing that will prevent Denver from winning this game would be stupid mistakes. Plummer was sacked less than any other consistant starting QB in the league this year.

Ranked in the top 10 ALL year in total defense.

That's all I have to say.

By The Way, Here's mine

They have a chance. But I think Indy wins by 2 TDs. Indys offense will not be shut down in the dome. Plummer will prolly turn it over once or twice too.

A link to my playoff bracket template...

Im still thinking about my predictions. I borrowed some of the images from the other bracket, and tried making my own version of it. Ill probably end up posting two versions, being a packer fan, its hard to put aside what I would like to see happen, from what is realistic.....

"Atlanta doesn't have a QB"

"Atlanta can't beat Green Bay in the playoffs"

"Atlanta's D is worse than Philly's"

"Atlanta's WRs are worse than Philly's even without TO"

These are the four most absurd things I have heard on this board since 'someone' got suspended.

The Falcons QB has issues. Fumbles, INTs, thowing under or over occationally. I agree. But one problem that he DOESNT have is knowing how to win. Game on the line, few minutes left, he makes excellent passes, insane runs, and gets the score, gets the job done. The team has an overwhelming winning record when he's in the game. Thats all that matters for a QB - Make the team win, and Vick does that. Period.

Atlanta HAS beat GB in the playoffs. AT GB!! This is absurd. Atlanta will beat GB at the dome more easily than they beat them outside before. GB just simply isnt that good this year. Their D is horrible, their receiving corp starts and ends with Walker. And Bret is making bad decisions this year. They will be lucky to beat the Vikes.. no chance against Atlanta.

Atlantas D is one of the best in the entire league. You wanna 'except' games? Take out the ONE game at KC and Atlanta has the best statistical D. They WON a game that the O only scored 6 points. Their D plays UP to game situations, and has been their secret to success. The Eagles have had one game that the D stepped it up. Otherwise, they are a strong, but not exceptional Defense. Atlanta's is better.

Philly WRs - TO vs. Atl WRs The Falcons win this comparison hands down. ANY of the Falcons' top 5 WRs could play the #2 on pretty much any other team in the NFL, save Indy. Guaranteed. The Falcons WRs are the deepest of any team. All of those guys run good routes, have good hands, and can handle the lightning that vick shoots out of his arm. The Falcons have a far better TE, too.

Look... my second favorite team is Philly. I have two authentic NFL jerseys.. one is McNabb, the other Vick. If the Falcons can't go to the SB, i want the Eagles. But the Eagles/Falcons game, if played, is going to be very close and tight to the wire. That puts the result in the hands of the playmakers. And personally, i think Vick is the biggest playmaker in football.

It will be exciting and fun to see how it all turns out. Hell. It could be a Rams Broncos SB for all we know!

Hooray!

I agree with all your statements except this one. The Falcons really don't have anybody that steps up at WR, except Finneran and he's a #2 at best. Dez White and Michael Jenkins have shown some promise. Price sucks, we as Falcons fans, should just admit it. Who's our #5? Farris? I can't say he'd be a #2 on any team. Sorry.

It is true that Crumpler is better than any TE Philly can throw at us, but I would call the WR position a wash. But from the Falcon's perspective, that doesn't really matter. We haven't used or really needed our WR's all year. Philly has, and now they have to look for other options...

I'd agree with your assessment. The Broncos have the potential to play with anyone.

However, somehow the Broncos have found ways to lose games this year, and badly at that. If everyone plays up to potential, we'll have an exciting game. If that doesn't happen, they may need a third digit on the scoreboard in the RCA Dome.

'Course I'm a fan too, but good grief EaglesFan... you're a giant in the land of homers.

Yes Atlanta have beat the Packers in the playoffs. However that was 2 years ago. They are two different teams now. The Titans beat the Steelers and the Tampa Bay beat the Eagles also 2 years ago. I dont see that happening this year (yes I know that they arent in the playoffs).

I'm a Green Bay fan (although I'm kinda hoping the Packers don't go far this in the playoffs. They coming to Baltimore next year and I'm really hoping to see Favre in action. If they win the SB I'm afraid he'll retire). Anyway I don't understand why everyone thinks the Vikings are going to do so good. They lost to Washington last week. They don't play well outdoors at the end of the season. I think the Packers will win BIG!

As for Atlanta I think the Packers could beat them. It will definitly be close. Vick may be a good playmaker, but Favre is the master of the 2 minute drill. Brett has made bad calls all year, infact basically his whole career (he really isn't that great of a QB). However he will let it roll off his back very easily (look at the Christmas Eve game).

Just a note for all the Colts fans, the past two players to break/tie the TD pass record have lost in the Championship (Marino lost to Washington, Y.A Tittle TWICE!) I think their "curse" continues.
