Chazberg
I have to admit, when i read the title of this topic i nearly jumped for joy. Thos ethings were kickass and they need an alternate since they wore the navy ones so sparsely. charles-noerenberg.com
DAJackson7
man, thats sweet, i was just thinking a couple nights ago that i wish they still had the teal jerseys and hats. Awesome. HurricaneDavid
I loved those jerseys as well... I believe I heard when those jerseys were introduced that the official color was "Pacific Northwest Green" or something to that effect... I'm sure Pantone knows. Gothamite
Interesting. Has any other team done this? A "turn back the clock day" to an old alternate uniform that they used to wear as part of their current uniform set? The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. Moser316
I wonder which number font they'll use?The block numbers of the regular uniforms, or the fancy-pants font of the navy alternates? I certainly hope they use the same block font as they did for the original 1995 alternates. While I certainly don't mind teams bringing back throwbacks (being that they were used ten years ago, I use the term very loosely here) every once in a while, they'd better do them justice... Pretty funny - you were responding to my post as I was editing it.I didn't read closely enough - didn't realize at first that it was a TBTC event. I presume that they'll use the block numbers of the originals. They ought to. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.

boardname
Good - I hate the navy blue alternates. Not that they're a bad idea in theory, but on TV they always look BLACK to me.

True...however, that's why descriptive color names mean NOTHING.As I've stated before, the Atlanta Thrashers call their dark Red color "Georgia Bronze"... stimpy
I actually like those jerseys. I think that should be the the home alt, while the Blue one should be the away alt. Why does it have the MLB logo on the side?
