Mings Posted May 8, 2005 Share Posted May 8, 2005 looking good, the fish is rendered very well. colors are pretty good, definitely good choices in that it conveys it well. got some good wildlife goin on with the boards (my big horns and your trout, although big horns are bigger than trout so i win lol). my only critique of this is the wordmark, it all bunches in together just enough to make it hard to read, fix that and you are golden, or maybe that would be rainbow trout? I suppose this means i can ripoff your previous logos under Virtuoso? . The fish is superb, Tempest. I still cannot say i'm 100% sold on the color choice, but the uniforms ain't bad. For consistency, I would think the blue should be toward the front, and the green to the back.Other than that, the entire concept rocks. (And tastes great over applewood coals.) nafsder2003 Posted May 9, 2005 Share Posted May 9, 2005 Very nice. Although something about the fish makes him look a little grumpy...I think the wordmark is lacking compared to everything else. The font itself is a little unclear (probably because the amount of space, or lack there of, that you put between each letter). The F and the I kind of turn into an A and the end of the H, the I, and the T become an M. The T's have serifs on the bottom left while the I's have them on the bottom right. It just makes everything look like it is trying to go a different direction. I also don't particularly like how the word "Trout" is kind of out there by itself while Great Falls and Fighting are really close together.The white uniforms are outstanding, but I'm not completely sold on the all green ones.
