hormone
I'm shocked Kurt Warner is on the list. He hit it big with the Rams and their system. His age, experience, and other teams' scouting soon showed. He did an OK job the rest of the way and he's not going to be around much longer. I'd think Rolle would be the jersey of choice right now for AZ along with their proven stars like Boldin and Fitzgerald.
WSU151
SHOCKS: 8. Carnell Williams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - I know he's a rookie, and he's riding a consumer's wave of excitement, but I didn't expect Cadillac's jersey to be ahead of a lot of prominent veterans. 9. Jeremy Shockey, New York Giants - I don't understand why anyone would buy his jersey. Most over-hyped and overrated player in the league, by far. 17. Jake Plummer, Denver Broncos - People must be smoking dope to buy this guy's jersey. There are plenty of other Broncos that are worth buying a jersey for, but...Plummer?? Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
BBTV
Not Shock: T.O. is not on the list! A year ago I'm sure he was up there. VitaminD
I'm shocked that there's only 1 Eagle on the list. Everywhere I look here in the Philadelphia area, people are wearing someone's jersey. I see as many Brian Dawkins as I do McNabb. And after TO came here last year, I'm with BBTV - people bought them in droves. Over what period of time is this list based? It couldn't be that long... "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.
slapshot
I'm surprised they can fit Roethlisberger on a jersey. A few years ago I was looking into getting a custom replica of Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala, but I was told the name was too long.Of course, that list is nationwide, not really indicative of local markets. Here in New England, I'd say the top jerseys are Tedy Bruschi, Tom Brady, and Adam Vinatieri. Ron Mexico
7. Byron Leftwich, Jacksonville Jaguars Wow, that's actually a pretty big shock. I had no idea Byron Leftwich was so popular. Good for him, though, I think he'll be one of the best QB's in the league soon.11. Mike Alstott, Tampa Bay BuccaneersYou're kidding, right? Has he played at all in the lastcouple seasons? How can he be this popular?17. Jake Plummer, Denver BroncosIf I'm a Broncos fan, there's like 8 guys whose jersey I'd rather have than Jake Plummer's.24. Kurt Warner, Arizona CardinalsLike someone else said, you'd think Fitzgerald, Rolle, or Boldin would be on this list from the Cards if anyone was. OnWis97
I heard about this on ESPN radio today. I guess it is for the last six weeks. Moss makes sense because of a big star on a new team. I guess Warner makes some sense because AZ has the new jerseys and, well... who else are you going to get? (well those who made the Rolle/Fitzgerlad/Boldin point are on to something...)I think Carnell Williams is a huge suprise. And speaking of TB running backs, so is Alstott Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse." Couple reasons for the lack of Eagles.Like you said, everyone is wearing someone's jersey, so that diversity drives down each individual number.Do you know anyone buying a TO jersey these days? Not only is he a bad guy, but you don't even know if he will be wearing green this year. Also, these figures are only for sales through the NFL shop. I don't think this even counts jerseys that people buy at retail stores. lost_limey
I'm surprised there's not a single skins jersey on there, DC area guys seem to be all over a Clinton Portis, Shaun Taylor and I've seen some Rogers stuff too.
VitaminD
Do you know anyone buying a TO jersey these days? Not only is he a bad guy, but you don't even know if he will be wearing green this year. Nobody who has a pulse and has read the papers or seen the TV in the last couple of months.I was this close to buying a TO last year, but I just had this feeling that tigers don't change their stripes, and he would never get through a 7-year deal without rocking the boat. Admittedly I didn't think it would be this soon, but still. I went with Kearse instead - he's been a favorite of mine since he was in college and he looked like a men among boys out there.Sadly, I still have a Mamula #59. I don't wear it. And my Buckhalter #28 is still good as long as he keeps blowing out his knee and won't get any free agent action. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... FiddySicks
8. Carnell Williams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers11. Mike Alstott, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Alstott no shock, but Caddy is #8 already? Damn, i thought Brooks or Barber would have taken it over the car kidRon Mexico11. Mike Alstott, Tampa Bay BuccaneersYou're kidding, right? Has he played at all in the lastcouple seasons? How can he be this popular?Yeah Mex, Alstott is one of the most popular players in the NFL. He is not only the best fullback to ever play the game but is also one of the most charitable guys ive ever met. So its really no suprise he is on the list. Broken Record
I'm surprised that Manning is so far down the list. I figured he would be a top 5, top 10 at least, but as a Titans fan, that suits me fine

Your Kearse may not be too safe either...If the Corey Simon trade to Baltimore had been successful, Kearse was going to take Simon's #90.Who knows? With Simon's stance, it could still happen. With Simon's stance, it could still happen. !That's fine. I can live with it.For the sales leaders, are these replica, authentic, or combined? Just curious - but at least to me, if I were going to plunk down a couple hundred on a jersey, it'd be as much for my favorite team () as it would for the player; replicas would be something I would buy more for the player or even the colors/design than for my feelings for the team. But I buy authentics. Plaid Paint
So the Co-Punk of the Year, Terrell Owens can't even crack the Top 25?What about the other Co-Punk of The Year, Freddie Mitchell? Where does he rank?As for Kurt warner, it shouldn't be shocking or even surprising. The NY media shrieked and bleated and wailed all last season about the so-called quarterback controversy between him and Eli and it was big news when he was let go, and since Emmitt reitred, Warner is the most well-known and famous Cardinal by a long shot. How many other current Cardinal players have even played in as many as one Super Bowl, let alone two, let alone getting named MVP of a Super Bowl?No one else but Warner can make that claim, and that's not even mentioning his NFL MVP award.
