Discrim
damn...I was hoping it was something about him quick-kicking...I haven't seen that since young John Elway did it back in the late 80s. Yes fellas, I remember seeing an actual quick kick (assuming even a few of you know what one is). NJTank
I dont know if Cunningham some guy on the Jets punted one in the AFL days maybe it counts as just AFL but it was something lese in 1968 he kicked it endzone to endzone pratically 98 yards. Theisman used to punt at one time tooo so this is not that uncommon at one time it was fairly normal. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
BBTV
QB's punting in quick-kick situations was fairly common in the mid - late 80s. I'm surprised it isn't done thesedays. Theisman quick-kicked once.......for one yard.So to say "he kicked at one time" might be an overstatement Stay Tuned Sports Podcast

Yes fellas, I remember seeing an actual quick kick (assuming even a few of you know what one is). The Stampedsers tried it last year in the CFL, and got the ball back for a big gain, but the refs blew it and gave the ball to the Lions... pcgd
The Spunky QB was reportedly a very good drop kicker. He wanted to do it in a game but ditka wouldn't let him.

WSU151
Staying with the Steelers, didn't Antwon Randle El play QB at Indiana? Yes he did.Roethlisberger's punt against the Pats was the closest thing I've seen to a quick kick in some time. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
