Browns in white?

the Browns have a history of wearing white at home. I like it. Traditional.

It's suprising how snobby people get with their Uniform views...

So that they look like the Cleveland Browns, not some schlock Arena League team. When the Browns won their last champioship in '64 they wore all-white in a 27-0 a**-kicking of the invincible Baltimore Colts of Johnny U & Co. and it was a heck of a lot colder that day at Municipal Stadium.

The Browns should ALWAYS wear all-white. It's one of football's all-time best uniforms! Nuf ced!

Their home record is bad wearing the brown jersey. They wore white at home in most every successful season they have ever had. And they look great. I like them. Nice win today.

GO BROWNS! :D

Thats because the brown jerseys make them look like s**t. :D

I've heard before that Paul Brown always preferred to dress his Browns teams in white because he thought it made the players look bigger and therefore more menacing. The Browns are big on tradition (even the "new" Browns, especially now that Davis is gone), so it's not surprising that they still seem to prefer white.

In my own opinion, I think it's a classy look, although I do like the brown jerseys a lot too.

I like the whites better as well. They look great with orange pants as well. I would like the brown jerseys a whole lot better if the white and orange sleeve stripes were flush together instead of showing the little sliver of brown between them.

I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry

They ever wear the white jersey orange pants combo at home?

I actually like it.

Stop throwing stuff at me.

I love their orange pants with both the white and brown jersey. Just not the orange one.

I don't really like home teams in the NFL wearing white. It just seems the NFL has always been different in this regard. Most teams (before the abominations that took place this year) wore their dark jerseys at home. I get annoyed at teams like Dallas and Washington when they wear white 99% of the time, although it just seems that's the way it is, and I have grown to accept it.

I like the brown jerseys for Cleveland. The all white for the browns does work well, I must admit. Still, I'd rather all teams be uniform in regards to uniform colors for home and away.

It seems that the Browns wear white at home early in the season, the nBrown later. It's not a "weather" decision. Of course I can't remember, but it seems that they wear white the first 3 or 4 home games, then Brown later in the season. But... this team seems to be reaching back for tradition. So, it may be white/white for the season at home.

I like the orange pants Pre-Spandex era. The shiny orange pants rub me the wrong way.
