Audiodrama
We had a thread awhile back before the season started, but let's get down to our updated predictions now that the brackets in both conferences are set. Here are mine...American Football Conference(6) Pittsburgh over (3) Cincinnati(4) New England over (5) Jacksonville(6) Pittsburgh over (1) Indianapolis(4) New England over (2) Denver(4) New England over (6) PittsburghNational Football Conference(3) Tampa Bay over (6) Washington(5) Carolina over (4) New York Giants(1) Seattle over (5) Carolina(2) Chicago over (3) Tampa Bay(2) Chicago over (1) SeattleSuper Bowl XLNew England 27, Chicago 24MVP: Tom BradyYeah, a few upsets. It's too easy to pick all the favorites.
BCBoy
AFC(6) PIT over (3) CIN(4) NE over (5) JAX(6) PIT over (1) IND(2) DEN over (4) NE(6) PIT over (2) DENNFC(6) WAS over (3) TB(4) NYG over (5) CRL(1) SEA over (6) WAS(4) NYG over (2) CHI(1) SEA over (4) NYGSUPER BOWL XLPIT 23, SEA 17MVP: RoethlisbergerI went with the Steelers as the hot team this year, the Indianapolis defence will surrender too many points against the Steelers, and the run game against a very small front four. Plummer will make a couple critical mistakes, which will lose the game for Denver. Carolina is too up and down to pick them to win a game, I'm already regretting not taking them to win VS the Giants, but Tiki has stepped his game up so much this year, I'm gonna take him and the Giants to beat the Panthers. I like Simms, and he'll be a great QB but he'll crumble in a big game VS a great defence, the Redskins won't be able to get by the Seahawks though. The Bears offence will be better with Grossman, but the Giants will continue to get good efforts out of their D, forcing turnovers and capitalizing. So the rematch, the Seahawks and the Giants, Feely will make his FG's in this game but it won't matter, the hawks will roll over them. And Big Ben will strike in XL to win the Super Bowl with the Steelers.
