Wow... So little love for the Broncos! I better get my homer viewpoint in here. :)

Yeah, for a team that has very rarely trailed in a game this season, is tops among the remaining teams in running the ball and stopping the run, and has gone undefeated at home -- the Broncos get absolutely no love.

NFC

Washington over Tampa Bay

Carolina over New York Giants

AFC

Cincinatti over Pittsburgh

Jacksonville over New England

I'm only doing the first round for now.

AFC:

Wild-Card Playoffs:

#6 Pittsburgh over #3 Cincinnati. Somehow. WINNER!

#5 Jacksonville over #4 New England. Jax seems to find a way to win every week. LOSER!

Divisional Playoffs:

#1 Indianapolis over #6 Pittsburgh.

#2 Denver over #5 Jacksonville. The Jags will freeze in the cold of Mile High.WINNER! (okay, so it was New England. I still got the winner right!)

Championship:

#1 Indianapolis over #2 Denver.

NFC:

Wild-Card Playoffs:

#3 Tampa over #6 Washington. Gibbs has done wonders, but they're not ready. LOSER!

#4 NY Giants over #5 Carolina. The Panthers have been overrated this year. LOSER!

Divisional Playoffs:

#4 NY Giants over #1 Seattle. I dunno why.LOSER!

#3 Tampa over #2 Chicago. Again, dunno why.LOSER!

Championship:

#4 NY Giants over #2 Chicago. Probably just talkin' out my ass now.LOSER!

Super Bowl XL:

AFC Indianapolis over NFC NY Giants.

Rematch of 1958-59 NFL Championship games.

Battle of the Brothers.

Could be a great game to watch.

UPDATE (15 JAN 06): Good thing I don't do this for money, huh? :D My only hope now is that Indy wins out...

AFC

(3) Bengals vs. (6) Steelers. Bengals win the rubber match

(4) Patriots vs. (5) Jaguars. The Jags are the best wildcard team i've ever seen at 12-4. I'll take Jacksonville.

(3) Bengals vs. (2) Broncos. Bengals won last year on Monday Night so I'll go with Cincinnati.

(5) Jaguars vs. (1) Colts. Colts win in a close one.

AFC Championship

(3) Bengals vs. (1) Colts. Colts win in a shootout.

NFC

(3)Tampa Bay vs. (6) Washington. Skins are hot, they beat the bucs.

(4) New York vs. (5) Carolina. Eli has no playoff experience. Jake has some, Panthers win this one.

(1) Seattle vs. (5) Carolina. seahawks win

(2) Chicago vs. (6) Washington. Bears stop skins Offense and manage two Td's to win in a low scoring affair.

NFC Championship

(1) Seattle vs. (2) Chicago. Shaun Alexander shows everyone else how to run on the bears D. The seahawks go to their first super bowl in team history.

Let's just clear something up. If the 3 seeds win the Wild Card game, they advance to play the 2. If the 6 seeds win, they advance to play the 1. (The 4/5 winner plays the other). Just noticing that a few of you are screwing that up...

ya, it's a bracket. They don't re-seed the teams after the wild card round.

here's a blank one for you to have fun with. Shift around the bracket boxes for the semifinal rounds as your picks merit.

Ah...I'm a moron. If you have photoshop or even mspaint, you can shift the brackets around hither nither.

Again, I note:  They do, in fact, do a reseeding if you would after the Wild-Card round.  If Cincinnati wins, they'd play the Broncos in Denver.  If Pittsburgh wins, they'd play the Colts in Indy.

my B then, I'm just new to this whole playoffs thing. :D
