Shumway
It's official now? I guess it's a good fit. Sac-town tastelessly made fun of Detroit, Artest took on its fans. Perfect.
Cyclopsis Joe
Does he have enough talent that'd you want him? (referring to the Kings)

CS85
Cool! The Pacers needed to dump Artest, and Peja's the shooter they've missed since losing Reggie. Good swap.
BJ Sands
Artest in Sacto is gonna be fun. How long will it be before he's sick of that "cow town" (Phil Jackson's words, not mine) and starts acting up? A month? A week?
PeytonManningRocks
Hasn't this trade been rumored for months now? Glad they finally made this trade. Good one for the Pacers, while nothing will really help Sactown that much.
Cujo
Wow. I was expecting Indiana to get some garbage like Lamar Odom for Artest, but the get Peja?? Huge mistake by Sacramento.
TFoA
Wow. I was expecting Indiana to get some garbage like Lamar Odom for Artest, but the get Peja?? Huge mistake by Sacramento. No, not really. Artest is one of the best, if not the best, defensive guards in the NBA, stupid-ass shenanigans nonetheless. The Kings got Defense, the Pacers got Offense. Good trade, IMO. BCBoy
In the summer, Peja had told the Kings he wanted to be traded. He finally got wish.Awesome trade for the Pacers, not only did they get rid of a headache, they added a great scorer.

TFoA
TRADE REJECTED!!Sacramento says no deal now because Artest says he won't report. roflmao. Can't say I didn't think of this happening as a scenario. The more I think about it, the more I think that Ron Artest made his "Trade me now" request as an idle threat & was just lookin for attention. CS85
There's reports on ESPN that Artest said he doesn't want to go to the Kings, but if the league had already approved of the deal and it was consumated, Artest said that he would go.The Pacers have the power to punish Artest financially if this trade is indeed dead, as he will not play the rest of the year. If this trade falls apart, it's another hit to the pr for the Pacers and the NBA. Something's gotta be done with Artest.
tp49
According to sources within the Kings organization the trade is dead. This was reported by the Sac Bee, and during the game on 1140 KHTK.
NJTank
Thats it the Pacers should now suspended Artest without pay and just dont care if they can deal him or not. Artets may have talent but hes just not worth it.
FiddySicks
Well this completely kills any chance Sacramento had of ever becoming a real team this year as well. Not that Artest for Peja is a good trade anyway, but Peja seems to have lost his focus this year as it is. This completely kills it now. Its things like this, along with a ton of other Bull:censored:, that has really turned Sac from my favorite team, to a team im really getting tired of. Starchild
Now I just hope he makes a fuss over every trade until Bird decide to work out a deal to New York. If he comes home, Artest will be every bit the same player, minus the pyschotic episodes. You can book that.In Indiana, Artest is a nutjob. In New York, it's nothing special.
