Well, I will agree with you on the Yankees, Dodgers, Cubs, Tigers, Red Sox, Phillies, White Sox, and the Giants staying. But the Cardinals should not change any part of the uniform.

Most of those uniforms are classics and there is really no need whatsoever for a change.

Everyone else may change the uniforms. The Nationals probably will not change the uniforms until they go into their new stadium in 2008 and/or until they get an owner.

However, Remember in 1999 when there was the Turn Ahead The Clock uniforms??

I know for a fact that the Yankees, Cubs, Tigers, and Dodgers were a part of the promotion of the teams not doing it.

Are you sure you're not a psychic? You pretty much nailed them all. The list is almost accurate in my opinion. Almost.

In the first list, I think there is the possibility the Dodgers might bring the names for the back of the jerseys back, but that is far from a guarantee. It's something small and the overall design of the uniform probably will never change.

As far as the second list goes, I think Arizona will stay pretty much the same. The only thing I can forsee them doing is adding more alternates. The design might not change for a while. The Mets will probaly stay the same, too.

For the third list, the Cardinals road and Angels will probably stick around, too. I think fans of those respective teams are pretty much satisfied with the looks of both. All the others listed are up for grabs, including the Cubs.

Obvious? Wahts obvious? That they will change, or that they wont? If you say they will i can guarantee you that the Cubs, A's, Cardinals, Astros, Angels, Royals, and Orioles arent gonna change. And if you say its obvious that they will NOT change, then i can say that there is a pretty good chance that the Reds and Marlins will change their look sometime soon.

my ears hurt

Along with my brain.

(Billy Madison) "I think that last statement made me lose 20 points off my IQ."

Principal: Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Billy Madison: Okay, a simple no would've done just fine.

Based upon history, the ONLY teams who can be reasonably assumed to not change their uniforms any time soon are the

Yankees

Red Sox home

Dodgers home

Tigers home

Cubs home

Cardinals home

Every team other than those changes their uniforms quite frequently. The White Sox have been stable now for about 15 years, but that is a record for them.

The Cards home jersey had a slightly change: the logo across the chest when the franchise changed its logos.

Same thing with the Cubs and Dodgers.

The caps lock is a key on a computer keyboard. Pressing it causes the keyboard to go into a mode in which letter keys are interpreted as capital letters by default. The caps lock does not affect the number or punctuation keys on a typical QWERTY keyboard.

Certain keyboard layouts such as the French, older computers such as the Commodore 64, and most typewriters have a shift lock key. This is akin to the caps lock, but also affects the number and punctuation keys, causing them to type the characters they would if the shift key were held down. Originally, on mechanical typewriters, the shift key caused the type apparatus to physically shift to type capitals and other characters. To lock this mechanism in place, the shift lock key would remain partially depressed. The mechanism would not unlock until after pressing a shift key or shift lock again. Some operating systems and window managers allow Caps Lock to be used for a similar function.

Cultural significance

The original utility of the key allowed the typing of all caps where appropriate, such as titles at the top of a page, without needing to hold down a shift key. However, with the advent of modern styling such as small caps and section headers entered only once, this function has depreciated in usefulness.

On Internet chat systems and Usenet, typing in all capitals is interpreted as shouting and/or yelling. It is also more difficult to read. A user who excessively uses capital letters may be advised to "lay off the caps lock."

Use of the caps lock is also associated with newbies who do not consider the appearance of their writing. On the PC keyboard, holding the shift key with caps lock on will produce a lowercase letter, yielding a text style considered typical:

tHIS USER loves HIS cAPS lOCK KEY.

I also believe that some posters might want to think about typing slower. I understand that you are typing fast in order to get your post out on the board in a hurry but the rest of us are left interpreting the following:

"had a slightly change" instead of "had a slight change"

"internet. to paraphrase" instead of "internet. To paraphrase"

"wahts obvious?" instead of "what's obvious"

"As fare as" instead of "As far as"

We're all smart people. We can read these typos and understand what you meant but it's so much more fun pointing out your mistakes. So go ahead and type in all caps. Go ahead and misspel words. We don't mind pointing out that you used a comma when you didn't need to. We don't mind pointing out that you forgot to capitalize the first letter of the first word of a new sentence. We might even have found a few errors in your syntax. If we can't find any of the above errors, we might choose instead to become your personal thesaurus, carefully and politely suggesting new words or phrases to replace the ones you have chosen.

Do not be afraid to post. We'll watch your back.

BTW, I mispelled "misspel" on purpose. Just for those who, like me, enjoy pointing out the shortcomings of others.
