Texas wears new road vests

They have had white vests before, but the gray ones are new. Pretty much the same thing as the regular road jerseys, but with the sleeves cut off. The home ones at least changed it up a bit, using the "T" logo instead of "Rangers."

I'm not really feeling these jerseys. As it is, I'm not a big of vests to begin with and I don't think the Rangers needed another road alternate. I know they've worn the blue jerseys at home, but aren't those road alternates too?? To me, they didn't really need an away vest.

I view this as part of a shift toward making the home and away vests primary, as well as a shift away from the superfluous black drop shadow. Good move, on all counts. This is the first time the Rangers have had a clean looking and respectable uniform package since the days of red.

I hate 'em!. THREE uniforms is all Texas needs...white, grey and blue. No vests.

we're not the damn Diamondbacks.

That's kind of funny. It wasn't so long ago that any professional sports team could get by with just two uniforms.

Heck, some even still do.

Front numbers look odd on teams with arched lettering. Script? Sure. Arch? Nope.
